I saw a discovery special on this once.. some african tribe that
used to practice canibalism, now has an extremely high incidence
of deranged individuals (cross-eyed, crazy, non-functional,
basically they're vegetables). Really interesting stuff, and you're

Actually, mad cow was a problem in the 1980's so there's been research on it
for over 20 years. If you do a google search for CJD you will learn a LOT
about the ignorance of the "professionals" in the press who are telling
people not to worry.

The people

It affected mostly the women who prepared the brains for the
cannibalism feasts in Africa in the first half of the 20th Century.
However, I find no evidence that it started there. Only technology has
allowed humans to find mysterious diseases in our moder world. This
'protein piece' could have laid dormant or not been detected because
of technology for thousands of years.
Now it's beef and dairy
eaters because the prions have already been created.
