Whittlesea's alien lies in the eye of the beholder
By Stephen Cauchi
January 24, 2004
http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2004/01/23/1074732605811.html
Is it a bird, is it a fly? Or could it be a UFO? The image captured by
a Whittlesea traffic engineer earlier this month.
Is this a Martian payback for NASA's invasion of the Red Planet? If
so, they've chosen to land at the City of Whittlesea.
The above UFO photo, taken on January 15, caused a stir on radio and
TV yesterday as excitement mounted over an alien visitor.
A Whittlesea traffic engineer took the photo while assessing street
signs and road markings on Beveridge Road. He did not notice the UFO
while he was taking the digital photo, only when the image was
printed.
The City of Whittlesea yesterday posted the photo on its website with
a disclaimer. "This council has no opinion about the object. We just
do not know what the object could be and would welcome any explanation
. . . the image has been referred by council to the chief defence
scientist, (the) Defence Science & Technology Organisation, and the
Civil Aviation Authority.
"Council is considering referring it to NASA."
Council spokesman Jim Linton said the engineer did not see anything
with the naked eye at the time. "It was a quiet day. We don't know if
it's a computer glitch, we don't know what it is."
But the UFO spokesman for the Australian Skeptics, Steve Roberts,
thinks it's a fly or a small bird. Dr Roberts, who interviewed the
engineer yesterday, said the photo was the only one of about 10 that
showed the object. "The object is very much out of focus, but the
background is in focus, therefore it's near the camera," he said. "It
also explains why no one else saw it."
As for the talkback callers who said they did, Dr Roberts said that
was a common occurrence. "Unfortunately, it's known that if you make a
claim, people will come and support it," he said.

I don't know what the object is but what Roberts said is crap. The lack of
focus could be because of the speed of the object, which is why it was only
captured on one shot. If you zoom the image you can see that it is partially
focussed. Aft of the object (it appears to be travelling from left to right)
the focus is poor because the air in that region is disturbed. It's much
like a conventional aircraft approaching the speed of sound. The air behind
a fast moving object does strange things.

Roberts is spot on.
I don't know what the object is but what Roberts said is crap. The lack of
focus could be because of the speed of the object, which is why it was
only
captured on one shot.
Absurd. what about sonic booms, if it was travelling so fast..
If you zoom the image you can see that it is partially
focussed.
WHAT THE HELL ! How can an object at a distance be like this ?
Clearly the out of focus bits are the flapping wings.
So if the object is at a distance, those wings would be making a
hellofanoise.
Aft of the object (it appears to be travelling from left to right)
the focus is poor because the air in that region is disturbed.
BAHAHA !

Absurd. what about sonic booms, if it was travelling so fast..
Not saying that it is or it isnt an alien flying saucer. However I read a
book by an American Scientist who says he was working on secret flying
saucer craft. His book has plans and theories on it (The cosmic Conspiracy -
Stan Deyo - he's got a web site too if you want to look it up)
There is no sonic boom and there is not problems of fast change of
direction, according to Deyo, because the craft has its own gravity field,
with an ionised outer covering. Think of it like a jet boat that sucks the
water in and thus reduces the resistence in front of it. Here is is ionised
before and after it (also causing blur) and is not break the air, but
attracting the air to go around it (over and under and side ways). According
to Deyo it flying on a slight angle like a helicopter does, creating a
polarity effect. Attracted to magnetic aspect of the plant. Even in the case
Deyo talks about, having massive holes drilled into the earths crust, which
act like a variation in magnetic fields. Being used for navigation and
attraction. (like drilling a hole in a magnet, you get a new set of
concetrated polarities in the hole). He calls these air antenna (from
memory).
So aliens? maybe.
US secret stuff, more likely than aliens.
Deyo had a theory that they would try to duplicate the second coming of
Christ by turning up in a UFO saying they were Aliens, which conveniently
look humanoid. And ask the whole world to submit to their ways to save the
planet and mankind from great catstrophic wars and natural disasters from
global warming, polution etc.. etc...
Meanwhile America is beating about the Bush!
Is DEYO right? Who knows... But all I can say is I have seen enough secrecy
crap and hard on blind patriotism, lies in the name of national security and
the best things for humanity. Just about every military movie about America
has some cover ups, and deceptions, and no one seems to really not doubt
these possibilities from America's leaders and Agents.
So did I get to the point? Technically there would be no sonic boom, even if
it was 3 times the speed of sound. Technically you could have a tea cup and
not spill any turning 90 degrees in your own field of gravity (as the earth
is traveling so fast and revolving so fast etc)
Oh yeah, the reason Deyo went public and fled to Australia, was because they
he and the other scientists working on the project were hypnotised so as not
to remember their work out of hours. They were put together like human cogs
in a machine. Some however started to remember and became security risks.
Within a short time, many of the scientists were being killed in so called
accidents and suicides. So he thought if he went public, he would be
protected. I guess on that plausible deniability thing they have going,
which makes sense to them, but to the rest of the world it means they are
bluffing us one way or the other.
As they used to say, we neither confirm nor deny we have nuclear weapons on
board. Which means, if we do, look out, and if we don't, we want you to
think we do, so again look out. Meanwhile big metal cylinder with the
radiation symbol on it, is opened up in the captains secret access room, and
it contains ice and beer.

What speed was it travelling? If it wasn't travelling at Mach 1+ it wouldn't
create a sonic boom.

Next time you see a RAAF fighter shooting past, take a shot of the scenery

Unfortunately cameras (especially digital) are useless anymore for
authenticity.
Including this digial picture where the UFO is also of very low
quality resolution. (Digital pictures are easier to manipulate)
Even I can digitally "cut-out" this UFO' picture, duplicate it 40
times and then repaste it to make it look like the sky is full of
invading UFOs.
Or have we not seen how digital movies can make even Dinosaurs look
like the REAL THING with Sound.

As somebody else has done. You can only see the differences if you know
which is the original UFO.

Interesting point with NASA invading the Red Planet. Covered in US FLAG
logos, if they chose to look over this way, they would see them all over
IRAQ and Afghanistan, and one would wonder what they would think (if they
existed).
Maybe they might feel relieved that they exhausted their oil reserves
millennia ago?
Maybe they might think of a PRE-emptive STrike?
Maybe they will set up the fly paper to trap this pest of neglible threat?
Maybe they will sabotage the robots because the interfer with their TV
receptions?
Maybe they are fixing the other rover (spirit) pointing in another location
away from their cities?
But enough speculation, I don't want to start a branch of evolution based on
Mars as our ancestors. (But who made them?)
Oh well, just some amusement with a glass of red wine. Aussie wine, opposed
the English WHINE... behave Ray. ;-)
Interesting PIC THO RIGHT?
Perhaps it's a conspiracy to get tourism into the town that no one has heard
of?
Maybe their will be a political campaign with "martians overboard" and some
pics to go with it?
Though I guess you take that to pictures of pilots on parachutes saying they
were thrown overboard too? Perspective and opinion can make anything seem
like it is the case. But history shows, people lie, people assume, and then
they justify killing others in the name of self defense.
Perhaps a anti paranoid pill should be developed for all politicans to take
daily?
