I was shocked to see the Newsweek cover that says "433 have died
in the war on terror." http://snurl.com/2ap1

It stopped me cold: 433? That's about 3,000 short, isn't it?
Newsweek adds those numbers inside but why not on the cover?
The people who died on September 11th died in the war on terror.
And, for that matter, so did scores before on the Cole and in
the Beirut barracks. And that's just the attacks aimed at
America. Add the victims and soldiers of this war on terror in
the rest of the world and that's a helluva lot more than 433.
This war didn't start yesterday. This war is not over yet. This
war is bigger than we are admitting. This, let's remind
oureselves, is World War III.

The perpetual state of unwinnable war that
keeps the present power structure in place.

They also do not count the number of people killed in the name of democracy,
the so called "collateral damage". Millions must perish so the rest can
enjoy our way of life. Did anyone ever stop to ask them if they even put in
a request to be like us? China invaded Tibet decades ago, long before Kuwait
had problems! Well we are waiting, I guess if Tibet had Oil, Gas, Diamonds
or even decent road kill the U.S. might consider sending in the gunships.
Untill then FORGET IT! WOMD... what a joke Bush is such an ***** that he
would spend BILLIONS of dollars taking down a tinpot dictator like Sadam
with no ties to actual terrorism that he can account for (just a gut feeling
on his part) and the American public falls in line backing him on patriotism
alone. Iraqi people died , as well as American and British, they continue
this idiotic dance all in the name of oil.
I AM CANADIAN. I hope as a leader in the world of peacekeeping as a
rational voice we can help stabalize a very bad situation. America is
looking for an hournorable exit, apperently Saigon 1973 didn't come up at
the war room discussions lately.(BTW Canadians 1- Americans 0 war 1812)
Sorry uncle sam.

The Us keeps the world free. This Iraq thing is the only UN resolution
that required force for no compliance, and they didn't comply in 4 grave
specific instances BESIDES WMD, and the US just kept the UN relevant.
