Everyone keeps wringing their hands over the fact that the guy was
bipolar. Well, guess what? Bipolar people often do unpredictable and
violent things. Being bipolar doesn't mean he wasn't dangerous. A
bipolar person shot and killed John Lennon. A bipolar person tried to
assassinate Ronald Reagan. So even if the marshal knew/believed he was
bipolar, that doesn't mean he didn't *also* have a bomb. All it means is
that he's even *more* dangerous than a "regular" terrorist because his
motivation is irrational.

Bingo! And that's EXACTLY why the brave air marshalls will be
cleared of any wrongdoing whatsoever in the routine shooting
inquiry. These bleeding-heart liberals just don't get it, but
