which Cardinal (if any) would bear some resemblance to the De Gloria
Olivae tag given by Nostradamus? Anyone know if there are bios of the
various Cardinals online somewhere? Further hypothesis, given that his
rule is supposed to be not that long, it's possible that 'Peter the
Roman' might also be already a Cardinal. Same question, any member(s)
of the College of Cardinals fit the tag given by Nostradamus?

Good questions. I don't know the answers. People are saying 'olive'
points to Cardinal Lustiger of France but they may be barking up the
wrong tree.
There are biographical notes on all present cardinals at:

According to <http://www.infoaboutnetwork.com/view/news/876>
bookmaker Paddy Power is laying the following odds about the next pope
(a position for which there is, at present, no vacancy):
Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi of Italy, 5\2
Cardinal Francis Arinze of Nigeria, 3\1
Jaime Lucas Ortega y Alamino of Cuba, 11\2
Ennio Antonelli of Italy, 6\1
Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga of Honduras, 6\1
Joseph Ratzinger of Germany, 8\1
Claudio Hummes of Brazil, 8\1
Giacomo Biffi of Italy, 10\1
Christoph Schoenborn of Austria, 12\1
Angelo Scola of Italy, 12\1
Angelo Sodano of Italy, 16\1
Ivan Dias of India, 16\1
Cormac Murphy-O'Connor of England, 20\1
Wilfried Napier of South Africa, 33\1
The vig (house take) is massive BTW, over 60%.
Other names than these 14 have been mentioned, including:
Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina, who is a Jesuit,
Tarcisio Bertone of Italy
Giovanni Battista Re of Italy

If I had to pick one? It's a few years since I studied this, but sorry
to be boring, I'd say TETTAMANZI. A second choice (and likely to split
the church if elected) would be RATZINGER.
Tettamanzi had his work on bioethics published by Microsoft.

Hmmm, interesting, what's the connection?

Ok, that's what I needed, thanks.

Mmmm, possibly.

Why would that split the Church? Dean of the College of Cardinals,
can't be too radical or he wouldn't be there.

Tettamanzi had his work on bioethics published by Microsoft.

Interesting.

Candidate Cardinals in the past have been known to play up aspects of
their biography for a better perceived fit to the upcoming motto.

Your statement led me to this on a websearch:
http://philologos.org/bprdigests/2001/feb/022201.htm
It is "dated" in '01, but I swear I read it more than just 4 years
ago. So then I followed your links to the holocaustrevealed site and
I swear I read that before, too. All way back in the day when I used
to come here (around 1994 and 1995). I see the latest date on that
site as copyright 2000. I don't remember the originals (that is, if I
am not hallucinating this whole thing!) that well, so I wonder what
are the chances that all this is much older, and these people keep
editing (and/or re-editing) this stuff as time goes by? I'm not
necessarily accusing, just pondering...
This message was crossposted, and I know almost all of the people from
the main group I read this in weren't here back then. What about
people in other groups, have you seen these same items in print in
years past? If so, has anything been changed as time goes by because
maybe it didn't meet the 'original' time frame? I know plenty of
people kept predicting JPII was gonna kick it way back when (and of
course it didn't happen). But all he had to do was be rumored to be
near two glasses of water, and the rumors flew....!
Otherwise, (for a change) things do appear to be heading toward the
'spooky' realm.
[Snipped the rest....]
