What war? The war is over. Haven't you heard? That's why those
Iraqis held in U.S. prison camps can be tortured and humiliated--they
are "insurgents," not war prisoners. They are not entitled to the
protections of the Geneva Convention. There is no war.

The war can be won.
What is there to win? The U.S. forces annihilated the Iraqi army
months ago. U.S. military units have the run of Iraq. A U.S.
appointed official is governing Iraq. The Iraqis have no electric
power, no water treatment plants, no garbage pickup, no sewage plants,
no working farms, no ships, no railroads, no airports, no airplanes,
no department stores, no grocery stores, no food, and no potable
water. American tanks are roaring through the Iraqi towns and villages
and shooting up the place. Highly paid mercenaries strut along the
Iraqi streets with automatic weapons at the ready to protect the U.S.
and Israeli carpet baggers that are swarming through the country. U.S.
oil companies are already pumping out Iraqi oil at the rate of almost
a billion dollars a month and all the money goes to U.S. accounts.
The war has been won.
So now what? Some Iraqis don't like the situation. Some of them
really hate Americans. The American public just can't understand it.
They want the Iraqis to bow to American might. The United States
citizens demand that Iraqis submit and obey. They can't understand why
the Iraqis won't just give up, and they are fighting mad that some
Iraqis are actually shooting back. So the American solution is to keep
right on torturing, starving, and killing Iraqis until every Iraqi
openly cries out his great and undying love for America.

The Iraqis want freedom.
From what? From who? Why are the Iraqis not free right now? Who is
keeping the Iraqis from forming their own government? Who is
preventing the Iraqis from taking over the management of their oil
fields? Who is preventing the import of material needed to fix the
electric generators and the water treatment plants? How many guesses
do you need?

The Democrats are using the media to fight the war for the enemy.
No one is using the U.S. media except the same people who are
keeping the economic chaos in Iraq out of the public view. The same
people who managed to hide the U.S. torture chambers in Iraq for
almost 8 months. The same people who were able to get the media to
repeatedly headline Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and Saddam's
link to al Queda to stir up war fever among the American voters. The
Democrats are just as guilty as the Republicans.
The latest headlines about U.S. torture and murder of prisoners is
out only because some private individuals sent the evidence to Arab
and European media outlets. If not for that, Americans would still be
completely unaware of what is happening in Iraq.

The Democrats use the media and the election to cripple the military command.
The commanding generals claim they couldn't see what was going on
right under their noses. They were shocked--shocked do you hear?--to
learn that for almost a year, CIA and army intelligence were openly
torturing Iraqi prisoners, and taking pictures yet. Now we can all
pretend to be naive and stupid, and we can accept that not one
Democrat official had even a hint of what was happening in Iraq, but
our grammar school kids won't even buy that.

The Democrats are trying to turn the country against our military.
Right. The Democrats (and the Republicans, Greens, Independents,
etc.) have no business criticizing torture and murder in the name of
the United States. Who do those people think they are? Why, acting
like we don't like people who torture prisoners, kill little children,
blow up homes, and starve populations will make our troops think we
don't like them. We should all keep our mouths shut about rape,
torture, murder, and terror. That's the role of our brave military.

The Democrats tell us we're not winning the war.
How could anyone be so foolish to think America is not winning
the hearts of the Iraqi people?

Democrats tell us the war can't be won.
Surely if we kill enough civilians, torture enough prisoners,
humiliate enough Iraqi soldiers, we can finally win our objective.
But what is our objective?

The Democrats tell us the Iraqis don't want freedom.
We know one thing. As bad as it was, the Iraqis were better off
under Saddam than they are under the American military governor. No
one should be surprised if the Iraqis want freedom from benevolent

Yeah but those 300,000 were produced over a couple of decades ... the U.S.
hasn't been there long enough yet.

totally defenseless retreating Iraqi army? Don't you remember
watching all those bombs falling on Baghdad in the middle of the
night, killing thousands of civilian Iraqis? Mass graves amounting to
only 400,000 bodies could have easily been filled with the victims the
victorious American military forces.
