Much of this is outright lies. Warrants are still required for almost
all activities such as monitoring communications and searches. Many of
these criticisms were also made against the RICO statute and to date
there have been so few abuses of the statute I've never personally heard
of one. The opposition to the Patriot Act come from those who oppose
America defending itself, mostly idiot liberals and ACLU types
attempting to discredit the Bush administration.

What is also true in every country, if appeasers are allowed to have there
way you end up the way most of Europe did in the early 1940's. At that point
in time someone has to stand up and stop appeasment and come to the rescue

That's true, but Iraq was never a threat to us. No WMDs were ever found,
and I'll bet none ever will be. Let's face it, if Bush had put as much
effort into finding Osama bin Laden as he did in finding Saddam Hussein,
he would have found him at least a year ago.

That's true, but Iraq was never a threat to us.

True the average citizen of Iraq was no threat to us. But Saddam was. And
the war was about getting Saddam.

No WMDs were ever found,

Caches of chemical weapons are slowly being found.

Nope again. Squat, nada:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A24403-2004Jul2.html
If there any real WMD's found, they will all turn out
to be a few -- at best -- random leftover/forgotten
shells from Iraq's fights with Iran and the Kurds.
And as far as the Patriot Act goes, good old Ben
Franklin once said something very applicable:

a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor
safety."

Nope, you dope. Say "bin Laden." Hussein was just some
dopy bloodthirsty dictator who supported only
Palestinian terrorists, and who fell out of favor with

Nope. You have no cites because there aren't any. The
recent Polish "find" turned out yet again to be false.
The closest thing -- maybe -- was that roadside bomb
apparently made from an old Iran/Kurdish war era shell.
But even there the US admits that apparently the bombers
had no idea that it wasn't a normal shell they had
converted to a roadside bomb.

Much of this is outright lies. Warrants are still required
for almost all activities such as monitoring communications
and searches. Many of these criticisms were also made
against the RICO statute and to date there have been so few
abuses of the statute I've never personally heard of one.
The opposition to the Patriot Act come from those who oppose
America defending itself, mostly idiot liberals and ACLU
types attempting to discredit the Bush administration.

"Naturally, the common people don't want war, but after all,
it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy and it
is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a
democracy or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a
communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can
always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. This is easy.
All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and
denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing
the country to danger. It works the same in every country."

What is also true in every country, if appeasers are allowed to
have there way you end up the way most of Europe did in the
early 1940's. At that point in time someone has to stand up
and stop appeasment and come to the rescue of the weak and
cowardly. Unfortunately more people seem to die then would have
if aggressors had been stopped early on. Let me futher point
out that while we stopprd Hitler, old JOe Stalin was allowed to
go on his murderous way killing close to thirty million
people. You may not think so but their are evil people in the
world and like it or not they have to be stopped. Otherwise you
will live under their boot heel as eastern europe did for close
to forty years.

That's true, but Iraq was never a threat to us.

True the average citizen of Iraq was no threat to us. But Saddam
was.

Prove it.

The UN already has.

Classic unsubstantiated and erroneous claim.

Not at all. Saddam was in violation of numerous UN resolutions. That you
prefer to be an idiot about the situation is your problem.

Being in violation of UN resolutions does not necessarily constitute a
threat.

The resolutions he was in violation of did constitute a threat.
And he has already engaged in crimes against humanity.

And the war was about getting Saddam.

The war should have been about getting Osama bin Laden. Remember
him?

That part of the war is still in progress. Notice he has not shown
himself to often lately, and every nation is affraid to even let him
in their country.

Yet he's still alive somewhere, eh?

And been very very quiet.
So much for him trying to ram some jets into buildings again.

And you think it must be pretty easy to find one person in the world.

No WMDs were ever found,

Caches of chemical weapons are slowly being found.

Empty shells, from what I understand.

You understand little, but then that is why you are a leftist useful
idiot.

That's true, but Iraq was never a threat to us. No WMDs were ever found,
and I'll bet none ever will be. Let's face it, if Bush had put as much
effort into finding Osama bin Laden as he did in finding Saddam Hussein,
he would have found him at least a year ago.

If Bush put as much effort into finding bin Laden as he has Saddam, bin
Laden would have been found on September 12, 2001.

Bin Laden's living in a posh ski resort in Aspen, paid for by the Bush
administration. He'll be 'found' sometime in mid-October. :)

Bin Laden is located behind the 'fake moon landing' set in Hollywood.
He is paid by the Bush administration to attack the US so that an
ongoing Third World War can allow the US to waltz over the world and
pillage all the energy before it runs out.
