One way to calculate "rich" is by first knowing the average income.
Obviously, this average would be a different figure, in different countries.
Average X [n] would be the higher incomes.
Average / [n] would be the lower incomes.
For example :
A man's income might be 1,000,000 times the average.
Or, a man's income might be the average, divided by 1,000,000.

Which means that some people are richer than others and some people are poorer than others.
