Oh grin of grins ;) I am....touched by the above.
So, over this 'Cheshire cat' smile I'll just have to agree Sue.
I hate that English 'expression' too. Yep, It's not just the US which
has an underground language used to display lack of vocabulary ;)
Swearing is a bit like smoking as a child I fancy. It's done in order
to 'look big' amongst one's peers. Then it becomes a habit for life,
and, rather than 'look big', the opposite effect is achieved.
I don't do it in conversation..there are always a wide choice of more
subtle words than invective, to emphasis one's point.
But I can't think of many words to make me grin quite as much as you
did with, 'Shewolfy' ;)
Ricky ;)

I try not to. I do seem to have a problem when I get in heavy traffic or
when I whack myself with a hammer and similar painful mis-haps.
As far as the heavy traffic goes.....I do think it is a great release
that has kept me from exiting my vehicle, smashing out a windshield and
snatching a person out f their car and choking them to death. :)
I am trying very hard to train myself to use substitute words instead.

She *is* sometimes. ;)

Yep....I do that too ;)
I found great dificulty in whispering, "Oh dearie me" a couple of
weeks ago, when I hit my knee-cap with a pick-axe.
Even the song birds stopped their chorus...looked askance....and put
their wings over their ears ;)
The roads are very diferent though. Courtesy and patience are the
by-words for safety.
I never swear at other drivers....not whilst an opportunity to 'cut
the bastards up' exists anyway ;)
