Stern
Stern was violently pro war and Bush before the, FCC happenstance, in
which he blames Bush because if he blames Michael Powell he will look
like a racist. He is just mad he cannot push the bar further than he
already did. He 's getting board with the stuff he did - now he must
get more gross and filthy.

Do you reckon you can give him some tips? Should urine be drunk chilled or
at room temperature, which cheese goes best with it, that sort of thing?

You're partly right. He was in support of the war, but he never liked
Bush. He supported the war, like the majority of Americans did. Now, the
majority doesn't support the Iraq war. In two different interviews
conducted in the Spring of 2003, Stern made it clear he didn't like Bush
before the war, but felt it "patriotic" to support the "commander in
chief" in a time of war. Stern has never liked conservatives in general,
and specifically doesn't like censorship which, typically, is practiced
more zealously by right-wingers. Under FCC rules, Stern has had to
reluctantly tone down obscenities and has been generally following FCC
guidelines, as interpreted by his employers, for sexual expression on the
air. Sometimes his guests don't care about the guidelines, though, even
after they've been advised of what's acceptable. Stern is now vehemently
critical of Bush and his policies and you can believe what you want about
the reasons for this attitude.
