Question for Cesar and others in the NG:

If God tod you to kill somebody, would you obey him?

No, because (1)God wouldn't request anyone to do something that violated

the

Law, so I'd know it wasn't God and (2)even if I thought it was God, if He
wants somebody dead, He can do His own darned dirty work.

God asked Abraham to kill his own son, Isaac. Abraham was happy to do so.
God, however had second thoughts, and sent an angel to prevent the crazy
fucker from committing filicide.

eric.

1) The All Knowing God needed to "test" Abraham?
2) The Loving God, the Father, orders Abraham to kill his beloved son in a
blood sacrifice?
3) Then, this God who wanted to be sure that Abraham would obey him, had
second thoughts and changed his mind?
Now, since the time of Abraham, this "God" has reformed himself? Yet
Mankind hasn't?
Just what kind of God is this God of Israel, I ask? Is it really God?
Sounds as bad as the "God" of Mohammed, don't you think?

Yes. This is the same God. But like a Parent, I think God expects more
from a ten year old, than from a 2 year old..

If I had to choose a God from among all the gods, I would choose Jesus
Christ as MY God because I have no problem in either understanding or
following HIS laws. He is my Lord. Period.
