I was just thinking last night about this "666" thingie, peoples ;-)
Many peoples think 666 has something to do with the antichrist, or is
the number of letters in peoples names or has something to do with a
frickin' bar code or "mark of the beast" !!!!
Well, the Bible SAYS it's the number of the name of a man,
so I guess it MUST mean something else!

pass"... I guess to Tony, 2000 years is shortly.

The entire Revalation thingy is pretty simple to understand, really. All
the piecies fit so nicely together when viewed in historical context and
from the point of view of the Jews.
Now about this 666... it's a long story, but it has to do with the Roman
Empire banning all forms of money except for the Roman Gold Coins that were
being minted.... (had to do with being able to collect ALL the taxes due to
Rome, they had just opened the largest sea port ever built and were just
beginning to occupy Palestine!).
It has to do with Nero Ceasar and Roman Coins.... it has to do with his
predessor (who proclaimed himself a Virgin Birth and a God... what
BLASPHEMY!)... it has to do with Latin, Aramic and Jewish gematria.
Remember why Joseph and Mary travelled to Bethlehem?
St. Luke 2:1 "And it came to pass in those days, that there went out
a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed."
Heck, read in the proper light... the *entire* New Testament is about the
struggle of Jewish life under **Roman** rule! The whole thing!
Besides, if it wasn't Ceasar... then it's GOT to be the Christian Pope (the
case could be made, but then the entire rest of Revelations doesn't make
much sense)... should we let Tony know?

It makes perfect sense in that it is about those who break away from the
Church. There are four great Heresies according to St. Polycarp, a disciple
of St. John the Apostle. He advised St. John said that they are the four
stars, vi.13, viii.10, ix.1 & xii.4.
Maybe one day I will explain it to you.

It is based on the four quarters of the zodiac and in order to 'count
the number', the four quarters must be represented on the four sides
of a 'solar' pyramid. The base level of each quarter is composed of 36
stones. The priests/alchemists knew that 36 was the number of the Sun.
Ascending up the pyramid, 35, 34, 32... 1. Count the number. 1+2+3....
+36 = 666. All of the stones in each quarter add up to 666. Each
quarter is represented by its ruling sign, which is dependent upon the
'age'. The age of Aquarius, for instance, would be shown as Aquarius
(the man)ruling one quarter, the Lion ruling the opposite quarter,
Eagle and Bull ruling the other two quarters. Of these, one is a
'man', the others are the 'beasts', but the number is the same. 666.
When the 'capstone' of the pyramid was removed, leaving 33
levels...the 'conspiracy' of the 'Big Lie' began, confusing the
language of the 'stars' and also the changing of the ages. This is the
real 'tower of Babel' which, if you remember, is the source of
Babylon/confusion. The legend is that the language was divided into 72
languages. 72 is the number of precessional movement. The age moves
backwards one degree per 72 years, and through an entire sign in 2160
years.
In a star calendar of 360 degrees/days the zodiacal circle was divided
into a five-pointed star to represent the 'age of Virgo' who was later
represented by Venus. This is five segments of 72 degrees. After the
star calendar was changed with the 5.25 added days (represented in
Egypt by Osiris, Horus, Set, Isis, Nepthys and Horus Jr.)the 'zodiacal
circle'was divided into five segments of 73 degrees. Set tries to
re-establish a previous 'rulership' by destroying one of the days
(Osiris) with his '72 assistants'. This process 'backfires' and the
whole system of Set (the adversary)is confused by the day that is
composed of four quarter days, represented by little Horus Jr. who is
now reckoned in our leap years.
The truth is in the biblical writings, but religion blinds people from
seeing it. It isn't just a 'jew' or 'christian' thing, it is our
world.
