In Defense of Nostradamus

Back in the times of Nostradamus it was forbidden by the church and authorities
to "tell the future." Sometimes if someone was caught doing it, they were
executed! That's why Nostradamus wrote Quatrains. It was kind of like coded
messages. A Quatrain is a poem with four lines.
Nostradamus wrote these Quatrains in different languages all mixed together to
fool the church and authorities and keep them from finding out what he was
doing.

Century 10 quatrain 72

L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois,
Du ciel viendra un gran Roy d'effrayeur.
Resusciter le grand Roy d'Angolmois.
Avant apres Mars regner par bon heur.

Translation into English

The year 1999, and seven months
From the sky will come a great King of Terror.
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.

A lot of people have given their interpretations of the Quatrains.
I have taken the idea of others and some of my own, to try and figure out on my
own what the heck he was trying to tell us.

First take a look at the Quatrain what does it say, it gives a date

First you have "Great King of Terror." I think "Terror" would imply
"Terrorist."
Next, if you look at the year "1999," turn it upside down you have "6661."
(mirror writing perhaps?)
Personally I think it's taking the first three digits, 666, (the

Nostradamus was a religious man and... In the Bible, it states a thousand

So, could the number "1," possibly mean a thousand years?

Next in line one is the "seven month."
If we use our present day calendar, the seven month would be July. But I

think Nostradamus was using our present day calendar. I think he was using

Sun or Solar Calendar-The Zodiac. (remember Nostradamus studied the stars

planets)
If we use the Sun Calendar, the first month is March, 2nd April, 3rd May,

June, 5th July, 6th August, and the 7th month would be September. The

were hit in the month of September.
Now...the "seven month," is September (sign of that darn balance again!)

balance is heavier towards bad again.

Next, in the last line it mentions before and after Mars reigns in good

Mars was visible in the sky before and after the war started.
According to the Zodiac, Mars is the planet of war!
