If you had half a brain and had you used correct grammar, your parenthetic
sentence would have been more readable. It should read: (the airplane
bombing of a restaurant WHERE they THOUGHT they were was near Easter)
Sheesh.....some people and their kids............

==================================
Some people, born English speakers have
trouble selecting the correct word to use i.e
"there", "their", they're". There are also
mispronunciations that are cultural in nature
such as "axed" for "asked". When the author
of a newsgroup continually uses poor English,
I always assume he is not a native English
speaker and cut him some slack. It's the
"Christian" thing to do.

--------------> Bother Gene.

I'd like to point out that in the above reply you state:".. the author
of a newsgroup continually..", that should say "the author of a newsgroup
*post*(or article)".
The "author" of a "newsgroup" would be considered it's "creator", not it's
author, and it would be difficult for a creator of newsgroups to
continuously create newsgroups enough that one would notice his poor use of
English.
On the other hand, authors of Usenet posts are often observed using poor
English, leaving words out, and assuming too much on too little basis...
Some folks aren't foreigners, they're just plain stupid. Some are stupid
foreigners.
I cut everybody slack. If I didn't - I'd have to kill them.

Consider your self "slacked", especially considering that you missed that in

elusive "r"...
