Forgot to mention it's from Nostradamus' letter to King Henry.
(Couldn't he have picked a shorter name that's easier/quicker to
type....not many are familiar with Nostie.)

You also forgot to mention that it has been proved that Persia is NOT the
beast of Daniel or Revelation.

There is obviously a mistery here, Nostradamus clearly quotes the
bible in the very same letter to Henry including Gog and Magog (dog
and doham) and the 1000 years were Satan will be bound (as in the
bible).
Nostradamus definetly associated Persia with the Antichrist...he also
mentions a second Antichrist, just a quick analysis but a stretched
possibble interpretation maybe saying he is from within Europe and
conquers Greece and Persia:
To a house will be reduced that which was, and is, a great city,
including
"Pampotamia" and "Mesopotamia" of Europe at 45, and others of 41, 42
and
37 degrees.

Which seems to indicate that he predicted from the bible interpretation. As
this was the popular belief for a very long time...until recently that
is.....or should I say unless you wanted to be killed as a heretic.Or even
dare suggest it may be the Roman Catholic Church.
The way I see it prophets arent supposed to be afraid of what they have been
told or shown. And yet Nostradamus was. That is why the quatrains are in
riddles. So that he wouldn't be persecuted for what he wrote.
