Bush Says Relief Results 'Not Acceptable'
President Bush, facing blistering criticism for his administration's
response to Hurricane Katrina, said Friday "the results are not
acceptable" and pledged to bolster relief efforts with a personal trip
to the Gulf Coast.

Too little and way too late. Bush is totally out of touch if he thinks
riding into New Orleans at the head of a convoy of food trucks is
going to help his image. Indeed the fact that such a stunt is clearly
intended to bolster Bush's image will be obvious to all.
The damage is done. There is nothing Bush can do that will not *****
off the American people even more.
