"If" McCain becomes the parties standard bearer, and "if" republicans cannot
vote for him then they have effectively helped the democratic nominee. "If"
they can live with that, I guess that is their choice to make.....

Where will the neo-cons go, if and when McCain wins the nomination?
They considered his moderate Republican positions to be "liberal" --
along with like thinking the Senator "un-American" and "treasonous".
Yet McCain is a major hawk on the Iraq War.
McCain rejected the Religious Right in his previous Presidential
campaign; it is extremely unlikely he will pander to them as W. Bush
did and as Romney is attempting.
What will they do? Will they go to Bloomberg, if he attempts a 3rrd
party run? Will they attempt to start some other 3rd party candidate?
A progressive, black man or a progressive, white woman will be the
Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
Will the racist and sexist bigots of the reactionary right vote for
McCain despite their hatred for him, because of their even deeper
hatred of "The Enemy" as President.
Will they sit out the election and simply not vote? Will they bother
to vote at all in the Congressional races?
Will they finally succeed from the United States to form their
Jesusland?
Will they finally understand the Republican party and its majority of
members have dumped them for reality?
