Our Great President has just signed into law the
long-awaited "Unborn Victims of Violence Act" of
Congress. Excellent! This means that "pro-killer"
abortion advocates had better run and hide their
pointed little Anti-Xian heads in shame, because
the law of the land now favors what God's immuta-
ble Law clearly states to be fruitful & multiply!
I really like this law because Scott Peterson is
obviously guilty of murdering his wife and child,
so his scumbag criminal defense attorney doesn't
dare draw further attention to his guilty client
such that the Act of Congress signed into law by
President Bush is named after Peterson's victims!
What's Garagos gonna say? "Your honor, my client
can't get a fair trial anywhere in the US, since
Congress--and the President of the United States
of America--enacted this 'Laci & Conner' law, so
all charges against my irrefutably guilty client
should be dismissed, on the grounds of his guilt.
No jury on Earth could assume my guilty client's
innocence until proven guilty, but rather see it
as automatically guilty as will be proved guilty
in a court of law. My client hasn't got a prayer!"
And Roe vs Wade is history too, since any unborn
child is now protected by federal law, Oh my God!
Now we can't even have first trimester abortions,
but will have to teach our children abstinence &
responsibility instead of decadence & irresponsi-
bility like we've routinely done in the past. If
abortions are outlawed, only outlaws will have a-
bortions, with rates of sexual promiscuity among
adolescents quickly plummeting. This spells "dis-
aster" for the Hollywood, cable & satellite tele-
vision smut machine, and will make the Hollywood
heathen leftist liberal communists look very bad,
even though they always have looked like dogshit.

Abortionist kill me sometimes. They say that an Abortion is a necessary
thing to do. The killing of a fetus. But when a hunter whacks a dear and
eats it, they say that is gross, unessessary, brutal and all that.
I am pro-choice, but I am also pro-hunting if you want to shoot an animal
for food.
Nature isn't always pretty.

Absolutely. There are people who favor abortion being legal, and people who
promote it. There are people who think it should be illegal no matter what, and
people who think it should be very strictly controlled. All of those people have
varying opinions on many other issues, as well. Perhaps the most visible group
on this issue these days are the radical anti-abortion people. They do get a lot
of media attention. They also tend toi sound like complete fruitcakes. As with
many controversial issues, they do more damage to their position than they would
if they just shut up and didn't say a word.

A group of them set up an informational booth at the county fair. That's cool,
First Amendment and all that. Talking to people, passing out literature, signing
folks up for their newsletter, getting petitions signed, etc. Then they set up a
large television and started showing some film that was, to say the least,
inappropriate for the location. Next they put some jars on the table that
contained what they said were human fetuses. They got an escort out. Both
pro-choice and anti-choice people at the fair thought they were assholes.

Jars full of human fetuses? That certainly does nort sound like they had
much respect for human life.

Evidently they felt it appropriate to show their little film, put out their
little jars, and get stridently, nastily vocal in front of all those kids, but
the decent people didn't appreciate it. It was a pleasure to see two people I
know to be on completely opposite sides of this issue standing side by side
getting those pukes run off. They have a right to their opinion. They have a
right to express that opinion. If they want the protection of the First
Amendment, they can damn well understand what "time, place, and manner" means.
The point, of course, is that we see this behavior on the gun issues. Yes, there
are those on the pro-gun side who harm their own position, but it seems to be
quite widespread on the anti-gun side. Heck, they are the ones who insist there
have to be sides. Most pro-gun people are quite willing to let them make their
own choices regarding such things as gun ownership, but they do not return the
sentiment.

I wish your mother was part of the noise before you were born then we
wouldn't have to listen to your static. Bush should be impeached for his
gross incompetence and you turn it into some kind of statistical joke.

Never said I care for Bush, in fact I don't. But you have no
understanding of what war is and wring your hands over very light
casualties isn't an objective view.

I guess Lincoln should have been impeached for 25,000 dead in 4 hours
at Sharpsburg?

It's not the end that bothers me, it's the means. We were going to Iraq for
WMDs, not because we were peace keepers. I would have no problem going to
Iraq if China, North Korea, Iran, and half of Africa were on our list of
next countries, but they are not. I mean, if we're going after countries to
make the world better there are much worse offenders than Iraq. North Korea
and China kill way more civilians than Saddam, but we just ignore the fact
that North Korea imprisons up to three generations of family members who
commit political crimes, and we negotiate lucrative trade deals with China.

All I'm saying is Iraq was never about WMDs, and if it wasn't about WMDs
then what was it about? It certainly wasn't for the Kurds or other
civilians. I'm not against wars or the military, in fact I just enlisted,
but if we're gonna go around bombing and wasting money on Iraq, I would just
assume declare war on China and North Korea. I just don't see the point of
Iraq when taken in context with the rest of the world. I would have much
rather put the hundreds of billions of dollars we are wasting on Iraq into
hundreds of water purification plants in Africa, and have hundreds of
billions left over to fix up America. This place is becoming a toxic waste
dump and it's disgusting.

War never had and never will be peace keeping.

Hmmm, that's strange. I seem to recall that the U.S. has had several peace
keeping missions that involved the use of weapons and death, and though I
wouldn't necessarily call them all wars, a truce is certainly a factor in
all of them. Some of them don't turn into wars because we are there and the
threat of war is ever present.

killing each other in the streets of our own Country then maybe I'll

Gotta share a story here real quickly. Draw your own conclusions.
There's a young lady I've come to know recently, we'll call her Amanda. Her
husband "Bill" has been one of my son's best friends since they were 5 years
old. All these "kids" are now in their mid twenties.
Amanda had been in the Army reserve for 7 years, 3 months away from her
discharge last spring, when the Army froze her time around the time of the
invasion of Iraq. Amanda had already done a year in Kosovo as a
peacekeeper.
Amanda had a job in a manufacturing plant in Holland, MI for several years.
Her employer was very supportive of her service to her country.
Amanda had gotten definite word of her deployment to Iraq last August.
Between that time and the time her unit was deployed to Iraq sometime last
winter, 7 of the girls in her unit became pregnant. They don't send
pregnant soldiers to Iraq.
Bill and Amanda had been dating for five years. Last Thanksgiving they got
married. My son was best man at their wedding. I took pictures at their
wedding and their reception.
I found out day before yesterday that Amanda's manufacturing job got closed
down and sent to Mexico. No kidding.
Amanda, this lovely, strong woman of great character, goes to Iraq. Her job
goes to Mexico.
Go figure.
Maybe Amanda will have to learn Spanish to get a job when she gets back.
Please keep these kids in prayer if you're inclined in that direction.

I think most people volunteered to defend their country against enemies,
both foreign and domestic, not to be rushed into a grossly unjustified war
without the proper supplies when they're fighting for the richest nation.

It's just so funny cause somehow you just think it is about "Bush". Of
course the fact that Saddam was giving $25000 to the families of suicide
bombers to continue "their" cause against one of our allies doesn't
bother you at all.... the fact that HE did gas the Kurd's in the North,
doesn't bother you at all... can't wait until that mentality hits our
streets.... I mean, isn't that what YOU are saying??? Good thing you
guys weren't around during WWll or we would all be speaking German or
Japanese. Does anyone "love" war??? Geez, I hope not. Do I think
Vietnam was a mistake??? Sure... but to think it is just a one sided
issue and "Bush" is to blame IS stupid.
