Oh, heck, drat and poodles: The Nation says it looks like we are
sending stuff to Iran....

As reports circulate of a sharp debate within the White House over
possible US military action against Iran and its nuclear enrichment
facilities, The Nation has learned that the Bush Administration and the
Pentagon have moved up the deployment of a major "strike group" of
ships, including the nuclear aircraft carrier Eisenhower as well as a
cruiser, destroyer, frigate, submarine escort and supply ship, to head
for the Persian Gulf, just off Iran's western coast. This information
follows a report in the current issue of Time magazine, both online and
in print, that a group of ships capable of mining harbors has received
orders to be ready to sail for the Persian Gulf by October 1.

My take on this? Let's face it, the PNAC crowd has been itching to
tackle Iran for a long time now, as part of their Machiavellian goal of
The US As God Almighty Over Planet Earth. This is not surprising,
considering that the PNAC war pigs have an erection with Iran's name on
it.

Some defend this. I cannot. To me, it stinks the same way The Rape Of
Poland stank, and where did that little annexation take us, history
fans? Why, right into World War Two.

Our military is already overworked and overloaded. No big deal, the war
pigs smirk, we're gonna use nukes, remember?

Many of the ships are nuke capable. Not long ago, the scenarios were
played again and again, and with Dr. Strangelove-ish overtones. What
will happen if the US and Iran decide to play out the Major Kong scene,
pray tell?

Okay, then I'll say it: You think the US is hated now, darlin'? It may
well come down to World War Three. I kid you not.

Cooler heads prevail, but not this time. This is a cheap mob-style
regime hell-bent to show the entire world.....they are motherfucking
insane.

Not crazy. Insane. Totally insane. The dreams of psychotic murderers,
that kind of insane.

We toss nukes, it's over, boys and girls. Any respect we once had is
purest vapor. Former allies will turn on us, trust me, and then?

Hitler assured the world in general; the annexation of The Sudetenland
was it. Later, we learn, he lied through his teeth. He went for Poland.
Gt. Britain went for war. So did all of Europe.

Are we that insane? We must be now. This, if it is true, is a stunt to
shore up Rethug support, oh, dearest God, it will backfire so bad it's
not even funny. Do these asses read the polls? Apparently not.

But those who are insane do not accept reality. They can't. To do so
would make them look like their holy quest is less than promising, and
we're talking about a regime, that, to date, has never pulled a punch
to reshape this nation, nor Earth, in a dark and sickening vision born
of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.

Let's hope it's just sabre-rattling and nothing more, but then again,
the crazy do the damnedest things. That's the scariest reality of them
all.
