FALLUJA, Iraq (Reuters) - Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld paid a
surprise Christmas visit to Iraq on Friday and told U.S. troops >>the
war could still be won<<...
In one time, the mission was accomplished. It is all over.
Some time later, sure we can win.
And now, we STILL can win this war somehow. Which means, regardless of
our defeat in Fallujah twice, regardless of our failure to control the
6km airport road, regardless of our scrap humvees and burned tanks,
regardless of the cut off supply lines, and regardless of so and so and
so... There is a way to win this war. But how? Unfortunately, Mr.
Rumsfeld does not have the answer.
Basically, Mr. Rumsfeld has gone all the way to Iraq just to tell the
US troops don't give up, keep trying, pray to God, and hopefully you
can win this war. And this is his military plan.
I think the road to Jordan is still open. It is dangerous, but not that
bad. Hurry up before it is too late!
