The problem is the method
being used to kill them. totally primitive and barbaric. But I guess

Um, actually - it's pretty much the same principle that American cattle are
slaughtered for meat. We just use techno-gadgety airguns instead of clubs, but
it's still bashing their heads in to kill them.

proportional to the decrease in the fish population. (or inversly proportional
to the increase in...etc.)
Of course, when one feels very stongly abotu something, and gets mad, things
like this happen. LOL This is funny.
But seriously. There is a huge problem with seals, that is why this is
authorized just for now. When the problem is contained, this is like with
hunting or fishing of any species in Canada, the interdiction will be imposed
again. The problem lies also with the method used for killing them.

I'll bet that if they wore turbans and had darker skins, you wouldn't =
be whining so much. If it comes down to culling a few seals in order to =
prevent the Canadian cod stocks from being decimated even more than they =
have been decimated already, then I say hand me a club too.
