Good stuff. If at least 50% of the muslim population don't want it, it's
dead in the water as far as I'm concerned (though as I understand it, Sharia
woudl still have been subservient to Canadian law. Which is absolutely
right, seeing as I can't go to Saudi Arabi and expect to get served
whisk(e)y)
Glad to see Muslim women aren't scared to stand up and be counted over it
too, I think in the past you may have underestimated their desire or ability
(as in courage, permission etc) to speak out about such issues.

I'm glad to see you admit you post anti-sharia material. However, this ISN'T
anti-sharia material, it's a report on an anti-sharia demonstration. There
is a difference.

should know; they suffer the most under it.

Not QUITE the same thing.
they should know; they suffer the most under it.
Actually, Sharia provides extremely well for women compared with some
traditional Judeo-Christian marriage values.

Sometimes. I was married by justice of the peace. How is that religious,
or "non-secular"?

Not QUITE the same thing.
What isn't quite the same thing? Objecting vs protesting? You just like to
argue for the sake of it!
they should know; they suffer the most under it.
Actually, Sharia provides extremely well for women compared with some
traditional Judeo-Christian marriage values.
Oh, you mean like stoning for adultery? Not being able to leave the house
without a related male escort? Being forced to cover whether you want to or
not? Etc?
I wouldn't want to live under biblical rules, either, before you bring that
up, but we in the west have advanced beyond that. Sharia is still stuck
somewhere in the 10th century (at least).

I thought Shania was living in Switzerland?
Just jokin' ... I misread it originally.
Quebec's rejected it. Ontario, I hope, will too.
