Stay tuned!! I'm gonna do some things different this time around and
hopefully restricted access due to bandwidth (3 GIG max. on a free
account) will be much less a problem. I had some discussion with other
geocities.com site owners and learned a few tricks. Let's hope they
improve the situation.
Geocites.com freebie sites may be puny, but if you look around the net,
you'll find no one else offers such a good editor, and many don't even
have more than 1 to 1-1/2 gig bandwidth to offer, although they will give
you more storage megs. But it's really the bandwidth that matters the most
at this point. I have enough spare money coming this spring, after taxes,
that should allow me to get their Plus package which, according to other
site owners, effectively eliminates the temporary access denials, and of
course gets rid of the ads. I'm stickin' with Yahoo...despite some beefs.
