morning.

Well Doc, I'm not special. Probably one third of Floridians can see it
fly past.

NO - but it's *so* freaking hot here that my grape tomatoes are cooking
on the vine!
It's SOOooooo HOT here that we don't go anywhere until at least 7 at
night. I think I might grill some burgers on the sidewalk later. ;)

That's damned HOT !!! Isn't there a city ordinance there prohibiting the
use of a city sidewalk for cooking food unless you have a permit?
Check out my post under EZE's header Space Shuttle Doomed (Son of Space

It's finally cooled off a bit since yesterday up here in The Great White
North. It's been in the low 90's more days then not this summer (yeah, I
know, it's *hotter* there but my baby sealskin swim trunks don't wear
well in this high of temps ).

But it didn't happen during the launch. Challenger disaster was during
launch, Columbia when returning. What about this one happening while in
orbit around earth?

I think it will be more like in the movies. They will land, walk away
from the shuttle, and just as they get away, the shuttle will blow up
for no apparent reason.
