At least you admit it's conjecture. Most intelligent commentators realise
the incumbent's lead was pretty marginal anyway, most of the Spanish were
against having troops in Iraq BEFORE the explosions, and that the biggest
single factor in the incumbent losing was the poor handling of the aftermath
(e.g. trying to blame it on ETA). Of course, you may well be ignorant of all
these factors.
