Spears' Positive Drug Test Just Prescription Meds

Britney Spears has denied allegations of substance abuse after testing
positive in a court-ordered drug test, insisting the results only show the
medication she has been prescribed by doctors.
The troubled pop star, 25, must undergo mandatory drug and alcohol tests as
part of an earlier court order relating to her custody battle with
ex-husband Kevin Federline.
But Spears has been accused of skipping eight of out 14 requests in recent
weeks, and was recently chastised by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner
Scott Gordon for not making herself readily available for the tests.
And there's more bad news for Spears, after TMZ.com claimed one of her test
results came back positive last week.
But pals insist Spears is innocent of any illegal drug allegations.
A source close to the star says, "The only thing that comes on the results
are the prescriptions, that the court doctor prescribed.
"There has been no illegal drugs or even alcohol in any of the test
results."

in the spotlight, having kids when she wasn't ready, the courts and
her divorce has driven her straight over the edge!
And you're right...drugs are drugs. You can get percocets, oxycontin,
benzos, whatever on the street - or you can get them by a doctor. But
once ingested you get the SAME result you would get if you got them
illegally on the street! Same effect. "Prescribed" my *****!
She needs serious help.

I've read that Spears actually phones certain paparazzi ahead of her
schedule. There is little doubt she's enthusiastically sponging up the heavy
media attention, and some shrinks think that is a dire warning sign. Marilyn
Monroe became so obsessed with her fame it deteriorated her relationships
and, finally, her mental stability overall.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear Spears attempt to kill herself IF she can't
get her life back on track soon. All that public adulation, shrinks think,
is being used as a poor substitute for having to deal with her personal
demons.
There is little doubt she is heavily medicated most of the time, at least in
public. The fact she missed a number of drug tests indicates she's hiding
illegal drug usage OR she's so whacked on the prescribed drugs she's
becoming more irresponsible.
Truly, one of the shining classic examples of a major celeb on a
fast-downhill course. It reminds me of the coke addiction Robert Downey,
Jr., suffered for years. What a wild ride he had...that seems to have
finally ended. He's sober now and working. The media vultures make it more
difficult for troubled stars to recover especially when the celeb invites
their participation. She's making a major mistake seeking out more media
attention.

Isn't it amazing when we think someone has it all (Marilyn with her
stunning beauty, fortune and fame). Yet they are so unbelievably
troubled inside. We think they're so lucky...but how many celebs
turned to drugs. Chris Farley is dead now (whom I loved), John
bulushi (can't spell that name), Anna Nicole etc.. etc.. Robert Downey
jr. was found trying to score coke at a poverty ridden
neighborhood...found in a crack house. Look at all the drugs
Metallica and Motley Crew did? We put these celebs on a pedestal but
they're really exactly like us - demons galore. Look at Drew
Barrymore? She was drinking at about 8 years old! Eight fucking
years old. A mere child. Angelina Jolie did her share of drugs - and
the Beatles wrote a song about shooting up Heroin! And "Lucy in the
Sky with Diamonds" by the Beatles is about Acid.
