Strange dream - ISRAEL being attacked... |
Well, I had the following dream yesterday...
I was watching tv and then suddenly the program I was seeing was
interrupted and they started to show some city in the middle east
being attacked. I think it was Israel... I don't know which weapon was
being used, but it was a very powerful weapon, since the fire and
smoke I saw covered almost all the city (pherhaps some very powerful
chemical weapon or even a nuclear weapon?)
Dreams often don't happen... But sometimes they do happen. I just
wanted to talk about this dream.

First of all, to use the name Bush if it is referring to the US Presidents 41
or 43
in the same sentence with the word dignity is misleading, or wishful
thinking at best, and an insult to the humans , both American and foreign ,
who have died as a direct result of his politics.
I was responding to your comment "Hope springs eternal"
which was used to express a wish to see yet another city attacked and burning.
I assume it was you who expressed that wish.

you sure didn't say so.
The night mare dream was someone else's experience.
If you hope to see city burning , then YES I do place you on my President's
level.

I'm sure anyone reading the bible from a premillenial perspective, the mind
and spirit will fill in the gaps to make sense out of it all, and not
suprisingly with the way the world is today the gaps are easy to fit for the
most part, we all dream these dreams, I've put them behind me and am
focusing on afterwards or making before as best as possible, the tribulation
is only a part of the "big" picture

You have expressed your feeling clearly. I understood you well.
There is no point in talking to him or those who are clearly pulling the strings.
As he said in his "own" words.
"We see you and hear your protests, but we don't care.
You do not make foreign policy. We do.
There seems to be no legal recourse to the situation since elections are no longer
free of manipulation or corruption by moneyed interests and the legal system is
being shredded by partisan politics.

That sucks. I had a weird dream the other night.. I was sitting in
front of a church on the steps with three of my friends.. for some
reason they all got up and walked into the church; I said "Nah, I'm
fine.. I'll sit out here for a bit" ..after they asked me to come in.
Well, as soon as the church doors closed - there were men everywhere
with hats and long black jackets on.. they all threw off their jackets
and hats (simultaneously) and began shooting at me; hundreds of them
...everywhere, shooting.
But I never got hit. Not once.
Then I just ran and ran.. and wound up in a desert in Pakistan.. The
people there were looking at me very mysteriously; as if they were
examining me. But no shots; no guns. They just stared.
Then I wondered why they weren't shooting...I looked at my right hand
and there was a statue type medium figurine of something or other that
I was holding. I then realized that the only reason they weren't
shooting at me was because I had this statue in my hand. I've got no
idea what the statue was or what it represented.
Then I got woken up by the alarm clock (I always get so *pissed* if I
can't finish my dreams - it's like watching 3 quarters of a movie and
not seeing the ending.) Maybe if I was able to finish it I would've
found out what the statue was all about.
But the thing was.. the only reason I had that dream was because I
fell asleep watching CNN. Whatever they were talking about found it's
way to my subconscious and made a little tale of it.
Was your tv on?
It's either that or you worry about the war too much.

Drive-by shootings and car-jackings in the South Western suburbs, hot stinky
humid weather, bushfires -- and the tv choice (or lack of it) really SUCKS !!!!

Then I just ran and ran.. and wound up in a desert in Pakistan.. The
people there were looking at me very mysteriously; as if they were
examining me. But no shots; no guns. They just stared.
Then I wondered why they weren't shooting...I looked at my right hand
and there was a statue type medium figurine of something or other that
I was holding. I then realized that the only reason they weren't
shooting at me was because I had this statue in my hand. I've got no
idea what the statue was or what it represented.
Then I got woken up by the alarm clock (I always get so *pissed* if I
can't finish my dreams - it's like watching 3 quarters of a movie and
not seeing the ending.) Maybe if I was able to finish it I would've
found out what the statue was all about.

Well, as I said, I only started to worry more about this after reading
the recent terror threats... Pherhaps it is just something in my
unconscious...
Anyway, I've dreamed some things in the past that happened later. And
I obviously had many "nightmares" that never happened (fortunately!)
So I obviously CAN NOT take any conclusions based on a single
"dream"...

course it *was* specific. It was just a thought that came to my mind
which make some sense, due to the recent wave of terror threats I saw

Well, I admit that in the past days I've been thinking a bit more
about the world situation. I started doing this after reading about
the recent terror threats that were spreading on the net. However, I
don't spend all my time with such stuff. Additionally, this dream was
almost like a "lucid" dream... I've had a couple of lucid dreams in
the past. This one I wasn't in control of the dream, however, the
"picture" was so real that I think it was almost like a lucid dream.
It was dinamic.

No one can be sure of anything, but I'm a "glass is half full" guy.
Furthermore, the apocalypse, as proposed is *very much a Christian
thing. Yes, I know Every religion has one. It's a
cleansing/pyschological/historical reaction to mortality, but it

on pretty much current events. Now if you had a dream/vision about a
previously dormant volcano waking up, or something that *wasn't*
likely or on the news, say, then I'd be intrigued. Based on the
November thing, you've got a 100% failure rate. That kind of makes
your dreams about as accurate as Edgar Cayce. I'm *NOT* suggesting
you stop reporting them, if that floats your boat. I *am* suggesting
that you not get caught up in it, and dwell on disasters and such. The
world's probably going to hell in a handbasket, but ya know, we get
through it.
