Lousiana students sent to the back of the school bus !!!
- was it because they where Black (Afro-American), OR was it because
they were a bunch of "Trouble Makers"
- was it racially motivated, OR just a practice that has been done
through out the years with "Trouble Makers"
- where they the only Black (Afro-American) students on this bus, OR
is this just an 'intolerance' for "Trouble Makers" by the bus driver
- is the 'local' Black (Afro-American) community once again using the
'Trump Card' to protect some of their "Trouble Making Youths"; OR is
this a legitimate instance of RACISM.

If I take the bus anywhere, I love sitting at the back. Many people like to
sit at the back. It's not such a bad thing and actually has a few
'advantages', but I guess being 'forced' is the issue here.

I'm not sure that you're aware of this, but in the Deep South, including
Louisiana, in the not-so-distant past Blacks were not permitted to sit in
the front of the bus. Sometimes, on long trips, the bus driver would not
let the Blacks off the bus for rest areas, or would stop at "white only"
stops where "colored" people were not permitted to use rest rooms or use a
water fountain. This is what Rosie Parks was famous form, refusing
to sit in the back of the bus where she "belonged".
So, there's a whole lot more meaning behind being forced to the back of
the bus as a Black person in Louisiana than there is a White person
anywhere else.
That said, we haven't been given the source for the story, so we can't
tell whether it's true or not. (Could be, there's still plenty of bigotry
in the Deep South, from what I'm hearing from my daughter).

Where did other races like the Asians get to sit? Did they have to sit with
the blacks, or could they sit with the whites?

AFAIK, there weren't any Asians in the Deep South back then. I'm not sure
there are any Asians there now, outside of Vietnamese migrant farm workers
and students at universities. They're really pretty insulated from
"outsiders" down there, which explains a lot about the people and culture,
IMHO.

Well, if there is a 'policy of choice', I expect they sit on the roof
or hang from the sides Mondo.
Public transport in Asia is...exciting!

Where did you hear of such an incident?
You do NOT send "Trouble Makers" to the back of the bus where they
cannot be observed as well by the bus driver. "Trouble Makers" are
brought to the front of the bus, where they can have an eye kept on them
until they reach their destination, at which point they are reported to
school officials for potential disciplinary action.
I have never heard it done any other way.
