"Since Team America showed up, it [Iraq] has become a happy place.
They have flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of
chocolate, where the children dance and laugh and play with gumdrop
smiles."
The above is what the brainwashed bushbots will tell you, (plagarised
from Team America and edited slightly to the present tense), below is
the reality:
"I saw a four-year-old boy sitting beside his mother's body, which had
been decapitated by the explosion. He was talking to her, asking her
what had happened"

....and how about that yellow brick road that runs through the serene
meadows of Anbar Province?

John McCain's team says Baghdad is just like strolling through
an Indiana city in the summertime.

I thought McCain backed off from his statements about how "safe" Baghdad
is? (The changing stories and spin are starting to give me whiplash!!)

Yes, at least partially. He whistled a somewhat different tune after a
sniper's bullet glanced off the titanium metal plate in his head
(installed after a Viet Nam wound).
heeheehee...
This incident is apart from the various times he's shot himself in the
foot...

Sorry, I must have put up a 2-day old link... it's no longer
'breaking news'. It's still kinda funny how McCain's little
media stunt went awry. Baghdad safe ? What a crock.
I've seen reports of McCain giving speeches to small groups,
and Iraq seems to be his favorite subject... I think he's
pinning his presidential hopes on reviving the old Bush
glory days of whipping up national fervor with this topic.
