Syria and Iraq Foreign Ministers Dance to B-52's 'Love Shack'?
RIYAYD, SAUDI ARABIA -- (AFP) -- Since Syria and Iraq announced a
restoration of full diplomatic relations after 24 years on November 21,
there have been reports the two nations' foreign ministers may have
danced to the pop group B-52's song, "Love Shack."
According to unnamed sources within the Iraq foreign ministry, the
popular pop tune was played as both ministers and some of their aides
danced together in Baghdad, with some singing along karoake-style.
Spokespersons for the Syrian and Iraqi foreign ministries have
officially denied the reports.
