Again, revelations over the passage of time will reveal the truth.
And again you have a propagandist, Tony Snow, arguing against reality.
This is a lot more fun than wasting your time arguing with a twisting
little freak.
"Bush spokesperson" is synonymous with "liar". We've seen it here for

What is similar is that they all lie in a chronic kind of way.. you
know, just habitually. It must be their first instinct to just say
whatever puts them and their party in the best possible light, regardless
of whether it's true or not. Being caught in a lie seems less important
to them than initially being shown in a positive light.
The posture of these neocons is reactionary.. they're always reacting
to things that come their way instead of progressively taking action.
It appears they're just not intellectually capable of being proactive.
Their idea of 'proactive' is sending the marines to storm a beach.
The only time Clinton was always 'reacting' was during the Lewinsky
scandal. The rest of the time, the majority of his presidential terms,
he was proactively setting policy. Bush doesn't seem capable of setting
a policy where he isn't constantly being attacked. I'd say 90% of his
terms in office have been reactive in nature. Bush has been such a
waste of our time.
"Bush spokesperson" is synonymous with "liar". We've seen it here for

Hi Marv. There are some individuals such as Greg Palast who uncover
the real dirt, but the neocon spin machine has been successful in
discrediting these individuals, marginalizing them to the point
where hardly anyone ever hears about them. They never hit the
mainstream media. Here is a short bit I posted here on APN a
few weeks ago. Tell me if you find any of this believable.
My post was titled
'The Republican Party and the Practice of Caging (Voter Suppression)'
___cut___
Greg Palast received up to 500 emails sent by Rove staffers and
intended for GeorgeWBush.com but mistakenly sent to GeorgeWBush.org
and they ended up in Greg Palast's inbox. These emails outlined
significant details of the Republican involvement in the the
practice of 'Caging' or voter suppression in political parliance.
These emails also included voter lists for intended caging targeting.

Here is a description of the term 'Caging'.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caging_list
-------------------
It gets better.. much better. The term 'Caging' also has meaning in
reference to direct-mail. When Monica Goodling testified before
Congress she was asked about 'caging' (why people would commit
perjury to cover it up) and Ms Goodling responded "It has to do
with Direct Mail". At the time no one really understood what she
was talking about, but since then it has become clear it was a
reference to the political context of caging, or voter suppression.
All these emails and lists were about the theft of the 2000 and
2004 elections.

I'm afraid that people with investigative reporting skills don't get as
much audience appeal (in looks) as people whose sole purpose is to look
pretty for the camera.

Good heavens, Marv - if they report on the White House, they won't be
allowed to ask any questions at White House briefings - and then they'll
never get their 'big break' to become a superstar! (Or whatever else it is
that drives these brainless twits - but we all know it's something other

The testicles won't grow on the press until the anger builds in the
populace.
Something needs to happen to smack people in the face to make them
understand how they've been sold out/outsourced. How they've been
lied to and used in Iraq.
We need to understand how we've been sold out by global capitalists
who's profit margins won't be restricted by outdated corporate
patriotism or nationalism but they'll wrap themselves in the flag to
get us to fight and die to protect their best interests.
The media won't wake up until America wakes up and sees how we've been
used like sheep. The power elite do fear us and understand quite well
what can happen when an aroused "mobocracy" begins to mobilize. How
bad will things have to get before we see the deception? How far will
the powers that be go to diffuse or control our anger?
Looks like our kids are going to live in interesting times.

Happy Father's Day to you too, Marvie.
I think you'll see more going on in the media once the Democrats begin
to orchestrate their election drive. They won't end up getting into
the core motivations for the invasion, like permanent bases in Iraq
and U.S./Western control over Iraqi oil production. Nobody wants to
rattle the guilded cage of the elite anymore than anyone wants to
admit to "negotiating" international trade agreements that favor the
wealthy, overthrowing democratically elected governments and
corrupting oil rich nations and their rulers. You can't expose the
methodology that brought us to our current state of affairs. You
still want to be able to play off the myths and play rough when
necessary.
They'll attack Bush on incompetence, cherry picking intelligence,
lying in general and deficits.
I also think the media is owned by the Establishment. Investigative
journalism isn't happening in the owned mainstream media. You can
find it on the 'net and PBS is making a comeback with Bill Moyers,
Frontline, etc. PBS has a new series on independent investigative
journalists starting soon. Check your local listings or pbs.org I
believe.
With all this subterfuge going on that both parties are complicit in
the Democrats will be chipping away at democracy as well. Both
parties are sold out and there may not be any meaningful way to change
things until they break the system. The selling out of the media is
one of the first signs of the system failing.
