Tehran gets ready for potential US strikes
Published Date: August 21, 2007
KUWAIT: Despite US foreign policy's focus on the situation in Iraq and
in anticipation of September's Congress hearing, high-ranking sources
stated that the Iranian leadership is taking US threats to strike its
nuclear sites very seriously.
Furthermore, the sources highlighted that the Iranian leadership had
recently increased its military formations including the Revolutionary
Guards and the regular army forces. The sources also noted that Iran
was currently weighing three options to respond to any potential US
military strikes and that the three options included targets within
the Gulf region.
Elaborately, the sources explained that the first option( known as the
violent response) would involve destroying all US military and
logistic bases around the Gulf region, which is the most favored
option by the Iranian president.
The second option, favored by Imam Ali Khame'ni, involves intensive
strikes on a Gulf state that hosts US Marine Forces and that had
suspended its 1973 constitution, which would eventually help create a
mess that might develop into changing the whole situation. This option
would also ensure maintaining good relationships with other GCC
states, as believed by its supporters.
The sources added that the third option, favored by Hashimi Rafsenjani
calls for avoiding the risk of any attacks on any GCC states and that
the conflict should be restricted with the US alone. Moreover, the
sources highlighted that the Iranian leadership had fully discussed
the three options this week in anticipation of a potential US strike
after finishing the Iraqi issue within a few months.
Meanwhile, diplomatic sources noted that Kuwait and GCC states were
currently looking forward to the report on the Iranian nuclear powers.
The sources stressed that GCC states fully backed Iran's right to
possess its own nuclear power. Local News

I doubt it. Quite frankly, I don't think you psychos could
be any further from the truth....
I think it far more likely that Iran will strike at the U.S.,
or at least U.S. forces in Iraq and/afghanistan, than
Bush will authorize a strike against them.
Quite frankly, Iran has never not been active inside of
Iraq, at least since the Clinton years. Those "Al Qaeda"
terrorists inside Iraq? The ones Bush pretended were
supported by Saddam? They were supported by Iran,
and there goal was to overthrow Saddam!
They've been active in Kurdistan for years -- the place
were those videos of "Al Qaeda" terrorists experimenting
with poison gas came from -- and are buddy buddy with
the Iraqi Shiites in the south of Iraq.
Turkey & Iran both hate the idea of an independent
Kurdistan -- Turkey even threatened to invade recently --
and Iran would have already "Liberated" Shiite Iraq
if the nearly the entire Arab world (with the U.S. and
others) hadn't forced them into a final cease-fire to
end the Iran-Iraq war.

Of course Iran has been involved in Iraq. They share religious,
cultural, and familial ties, and share a rather long border....duh!!!
It's their neighbourhood...not America's. But if you think that Iran
is going to suddenly attack the U.S., then you must watch too much fox
news.

Turkey is a NATO member and is currently trying to
enter the E.U.
Even so, they've placed as many as a quarter of a million
troops on the Iraq border, and openly threatened to invade.
Our "Friends" are *That* against an independent Kurdistan,
yet you think the revolutionary guard wouldn't dare take
an open roll against U.S. forces? Please. That's not even
funny...

Now, fairy, why would Iran want to attack US forces when they know we're
gonna' be pullin' out by election time next year? What? To provide a
rationalization for this already warfaring bunch of buzzards we have over
here to keep US forces in Iraq, or even increase their numbers...to fight
them? Or, provide an excuse for bomb-happy Bush and Cheney to destroy
Iran? If anyone is stupid enough to get one more stupid war going over
there, all the reason to do it would be coming from this ***** desperate
administration, not from Iran's. Iran has no such desperation going. All
the cards in their favor, not our's.
I can just imagine Ahmadinejad thinking, "Let's give Bush a damned fuckin'
good reason to bomb our nuke plants," and the mullahs who control the
Republican Guard, "Hey, let's give the US plenty of reasons to invade
Iran, destroy us, and take the oil."
As I said, your, uh, monkey logic don't make a lick of sense and, as a
monkey, you're bananas.
So, you dance for your rotten fruit, monkey, and you dance well. I know
you'd love to get some more senseless warfare going over there. There
ain't hardly a cowpile-eatin' armadillo-screwin' Texican idiot that
wouldn't, but try to keep your redneck-ism down a wee bit, eh? Your
scraggly buck teeth are showin' again...LOL!!!
Doc :))~
