Object: The Agenda
I have an agenda--and it is truly insidious. I am doing everything I
can--
plotting and scheming day and night--to help implement a dream
cherished by such madmen as the Buddha, Jesus, and Mohammed. It
involves something truly insane referred to as the Brotherhood of
Humanity [or if you prefer, the Sisterhood of Humanity]. Such is the
ultimate conspiracy. You see, we nefarious villains plan to let the
nations of the Earth destroy themselves. Of course, we will make a
few gestures designed to prevent them from carrying through with
their foolishness. But we know they will thwart our goodwill and go
about business as usual no matter what we say or do. In the aftermath
of their days of reckoning, we shall establish a new world order
based on the principles of love. Can you imagine anything worse? A
world where the supreme law will be the Golden Rule. The accumulation
of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding will replace the acquisition
of things. Money or any medium exchange other than goodwill shall be
deemed repugnant. Progress will no longer be measured in terms of
technology and economic development, but rather by the advancement of
righteousness. People will be encouraged to cooperate and share
rather than compete. Harmony will sprout everywhere. Oh, such evil
makes me shudder with glee. Of course, our subversion of humanity
would not be complete without making our rulers follow the good
parent model whereby they will have to think of their subjects' needs
first, second, and third and their own wants last. We will complete
our dastardly vision of the future by doing everything possible to
restore the Earth's beauty and the bounty that such supports and
making peace with Nature and our fellow creatures. Everyone dwelling
on our world will own all of her and none will possess any of her.
Oh, we shall revel in peace and charity, compassion, altruism, and
philanthropy. Heck, we might even decide to get serious about
exploring space and visiting the stars. The next thing you know, we
will invite that old grouch God to dinner and a movie, then beg Him
to preside over us once and for all. What terrible people we are,
huh? Oh, by the way, just in case you might have misunderstood our
intentions, we invite all good people regardless of their faith or
color to join our wicked ranks. What monsters we are. Now, tell me,
where in our new world will there be room for such silly
things as borders and fences, and immigration policies?

When you can show me one ideological tidal wave in history that
permanently changed the ingrained misbehaviour of humanity in its wake,
I'd like to see it.
While dreams of holding hands and singing love songs around the campfire
are surely comforting, the reality of our persistent misbehaviour
transcends all our efforts to effectively delude ourselves, or
narcissistically make us feel like we're a part of an evolving angelic
race.
You sound more like a modified Jim Jones than a Jesus, Jimmy boy. Your
posts are nicely folksy and kinda' cute, but hide a driving messianic
complex behind them.
You don't fool me, Jimmy. You and your wonderful future you claim you're
developing is something we should be congratulated for recognizing -- as
long as we agree you've got the right workable formula for a kind of
utopia. If not, then we will rightly suffer for it, as you earlier stated.
We don't follow the plan you favor, humanity will get their 'divine
punishment.' Now, curiously, you're downplaying that more harsh angle,
and emphasizing a kind of cosmological humanitarianism. LOL! Which is it,
Reverend? Are we *beasts* deserving of the Iron Hand of God, or 'evolving
higher souls' deserving of God's favoritism? Well, Jimmy, you play around
with these existential issues, as you attempt to gather your adoring
flock.
I've seen numerous slicksters like you come and go in my long life, and
haven't known one yet to affect any lasting significant change on the
collective evil face of humanity. Rather, they've added to it.
Your efforts will end in futility. And your flock will be fleeced.
You'll eventually drift off (or back into) a form of isolation and
insanity, scribbling incoherent coded symbols on a padded wall.
You show 'great promise'....

I appreciate your faith in me. But it is not me who will accomplish
this wonderful future.

No, you won't -- I agree, so why don't you simply leave our collective
'destiny' to the vagaries of humanity and/or the *Great Plan* of God? Who
appointed you as His representative, our our's? God? Yes, that's what you
said in earlier posts. You've 'assumed the position'. You keep varying
your sales pitch to garner a flock, Reverend. I notice that you've already
(possibly) snared at least one, who you praised shows 'great promise.'
Those words of encouragement, Jimmy, have a familiar ring about them. I've
encountered them several times before in my experience with proselytizers
of religion - and every time they're meant to manipulate people into
following not God, but themselves.
It is preordained and will come to pass. True--

most of us are monsters. But not all of us.

No, you're right, some of us wish to harness and manipulate the raw force
of the monsters to do their particular bidding. Or, help fulfill a
fanatical dream that is more narcissistic than altruistic.
There are many evolving

souls around, and God will help them establish Utopia Earth when the
time is right. That point in history is approaching quickly. Like so
many forest fires, cataclysms will erase the weeds and briars of
humanity, leaving room for the good plants to thrive.

The usual course of a forest fire is to be non-selective in its fiery
destructiveness. Everything in its path is burned to a nice smoldering
crispiness. What survives are the seeds underground and that takes a very
long time to re-establish flourishing mature plants. What is left in the
charred ruins, and for a very long time, is an ugly wasteland with little
life. Might we have an analogy here, Jimmy, that has your 'divine forest
fire' leaving humanity in a long, horrible state of suffering, with a long
period before it renews itself? And, if so, where will YOU be after the
forest burns down to the soil? Leading the 'budding plants' in a new,
fresh *utopian woods* of communal life, with you as its master, and with
Bambi and cute lil' forest critters looking adoringly on, under a
brilliant rainbow? LOL!
Humanity will

finally learn its lessons

Humanity will never learn its 'lessons', Jimmy boy, from wholesale
disaster alone because such periods of cataclysmic suffering and death
have visited the species before -- and a sea-change in its terrible
misbehavioral traits has never occurred. Presumably, God allowed, or
directed, civilizations to fall, natural upheavals to rake the species,
and yet the species emerged from the 'ashes' only to continue in the same
behavioural manner as it had. You could wipe nearly everyone off the
planet, Jimmy, take away all that we know as 'civilization', and what
little humanity was left, would have, in that tiny remnant, the seeds of
evil as before, ready to sprout and grow again into what it had been. And
that includes dreamy fanatics leading those new sprouts into a
disassociative 'utopian alternative' world of their fancy that never is
realized in the starkness of hard reality.
and be a force for good--not selfishness and

evil. I wish you could be part of it.

Oh, I don't care to be a part of someone else's dream of a future 'perfect
world,' Jimmy. I have my own version, as many of us do. I'm sure your
'fishing' will get some on your hook, and you will reel them in. But, this
lil' fish called Doc ain't gonna be one of 'em!
But adopting an altruistic

attitude and cultivating iron-like faith in the Divine are non-
negotiable requirements.

And who sets the prerequisites for membership in your futuristic utopian
dream club, Jimmy? God or you? Well, sir, I'm afraid the *dues* are too
high for a poor ol' pensionier like me to pay...being a 'beastly' man full
of negative energies, I just won't be able to 'fit in' to your high-browed
exclusive club. LOL!
Why are you so dead set on going down in

flames?

It is not me who is 'dead set' on it, it is you. Your dreams of human
perfection are as old as the species, in recorded history. Their 'utopias'
were never realized, and if they lived out their natural life spans, they
ended up as all of us do, quite old, sick, tired inside broken bodies with
weary, feeble minds...yes, they end up facing their awful, painful, and
scary mortality, and whatever dreams of a 'better world' are then left to
their imaginings of the supposed 'after life.' If your 'utopia' is ever
realized, Jimmy, that is where you will ultimately find it.
C'est la vie! Because the more plans you make, the more life does
whatever the ***** it wants.
Doc :))~
Just because you have been disappointed again and again does

not mean there is no hope. It just means that you have to hope even
harder.
Shalom,
James Trusty

PS - Here's a lil' bubbly somethin' that oughta' appeal to you. It's
so...uh...uplifting! I can't stand to be accused of not having some sunny
bunny optimism. LOL! ;)

So what will it be then Jimbo...jewish or christian? This utopia
you're all set on building. Which God will help develope it? WIll it
be the christian God or some Hindu God? Are Hindu's allowed to join
this utopia or do they have to become christians first?
Oh look...."cultivating iron-like faith in the Divine are non-

you're at my boy...no utopia at all. Just a group of self righteous
nutcases who spend their time annoying everyone around them before
committing mass suicide in the name of their leader...and God. Good
luck to you...just let the kids out before you and your nuts commit
suicide, that's all I ask of your utopia.

Compelling reading.

conclusions. The main difference is your motivation to create your
post's. Yes, I envy that.

Humanity [or if you prefer, the Sisterhood of Humanity]. Such is the
ultimate conspiracy. You see, we nefarious villains plan to let the
nations of the Earth destroy themselves. Of course, we will make a

their foolishness. But we know they will thwart our goodwill and go
about business as usual no matter what we say or do. In the aftermath

world where the supreme law will be the Golden Rule. The accumulation

Explain this plan.... it sounds cool.
