In my opinion, The Chimp seems to be a little nervous about this
legislation not going thru. Could it be because he's trying to amend a
law he's already broken in order to escape prosecution?

Probably. Hence, hopefully, a future war crimes trial and a hot sweaty cell
somewhere.
Yes, Republican lawmakers are seeing the handwriting on the walls.

Yes, I saw that. His substitution of the word "clarify" for "redefine"
would be laughable - except the sheeple keep falling for the framing
nonsense. The torture he's trying to redefine is already forbidden, it
doesn't need clarification, let alone a redefinition! We all know that if
some other country took our military and did whatever they wanted to, by
means of "reinterpretting" international law to suit themselves, he'd be
squealing like a l'il ol' pig. (He wouldn't entertain such "hypothetical"
thoughts because he knows that he would not tolerate some foreign leader
pulling what he's trying to pull.)
Bush is a danger to the US military, its personnel, the United States, and
the entire planet. Hopefully, enough of the US electorate will have
awakened to this fact sufficiently to vote his rubberstampers out of
office. If not, the United States is in very big trouble. I can't see
the rest of the world putting up with much more of these kinds of threats
and actions.

His own former Secretary Of State, as well as a former Chairman of the
Joint Chiefs of Staff, and former National Security Advisor to Ronald
Reagan, Colin Powell, spoke out against this legislation.
You know something's wrong.
Powell has credibility. The Shrub has nothing but a resume of failure.
You have to hope, or pray, that the rubber-stamping GOP Reichstag
finally comes to it senses.
Cheers and good luck.

I knew that something was wrong back in 2000, when the Supremes interupted the
recount in Florida and installed W in orfice. I think he's the Antichrist from
Revelation. He's sure filling out the List of Antichrist Activities on schedule,
as per various prophecies in the Bible. If he manages to pull off the peace deal
in Israel, we'll know for sure. We are so Boned...

He's a scarey fellow. The 'Third Awakening' inteview he did recently
was enough to have him committed.
