ARE YOU READY FOR WORLD WAR III? WE'RE HOLDING IT IN IRAN
Dave Wielenga October 19th, 2007
President Bush has been trying to whip up hysteria about Iran all
week, saying astoundingly off-the-wall things like, "If you're
interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be
interested in preventing" the Iranians from gaining the means to make
nuclear weapons. That would be weird - considering everything else on
The First Plate ... the hot dogs, the pretzels, the depriving children
of health care, the spittle - except that this week I happened across
a story in Esquire magazine, which makes it truly terrifying. The
title, "The Secret History of the Impending War With Iran That The
White House Doesn't Want You To Know," would seem to say it all, but
the story says much, much more.
Reporter John H. Richardson relies on two of the Bush Administration's
highest-ranking policy experts-well, until they got disillusioned and
quit-who lay out how the United States has gone to great lengths to
avoid making peace in Iran and the Mideast while making great plans
for another war. If it seems too insane to be true, you haven't lived
through the 21st century-and aren't likely to.

Let the show begin! I am eager to see if the Moskit and Onyx anti ship
missiles, against which there is no defence are as effective as claimed
against the US fleet in the Persian Gulf. GW has now ***** China and
Russia who have recently held joint military exercises, when they join
forces and obliterate the US freedom fries and freedom toast will be
consumed worldwide in celebration. All of you neocon sympathizers including
DJ Min, hurry up and drink your Kool-Aid. You should love it, I think its
grape flavoured like it was in Jonestown.

US WW III rhetoric 'baseless'
Sat, 20 Oct 2007 05:08:17
Alaeddin Boroujerdi
A senior Iranian lawmaker has dismissed the recent remarks by US
President George W. Bush against Iran as 'baseless' and 'propaganda'.
"The US president's remarks are fruitless. Such remarks are part of
the US political propaganda against Iran," Head of the Parliament's
Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi told ISNA.
Earlier, Bush had claimed that Iran nuclear program would lead to
World War III and if the world wants to avoid such a war, it should
prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear know-how.
Boroujerdi said that before Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit
to Iran, Bush rhetoric was aimed at persuading the UN Security Council
permanent members, particularly Russia, to take tougher measures
against Iran.
The lawmaker said the US, using "Zionists' propaganda" outlets, tried
to take the advantage of the political climate of Russia and spread
the rumors of an assassination plot against Putin in a bid to prevent
him from visiting Iran.
"Fortunately, the US plots failed," and Putin made his historic visit
to Tehran despite the rumors, he added.
Boroujerdi reiterated that Iran is opposed to using nuclear technology
for military purposes.
