The difference between "dr" Turi's "predictions" and Science |
So Dr Turi jumps up and down on disasters, raising his hands saying
"Look at Me!, Look at Me!".
Recently claiming that whales and dolphins beach themselves because of
the apparent position of Mercury in the sky, as Earth "overtakes" it
as a result of the different orbits of Mercury and Earth.
However, he has NO EVIDENCE to support his incredible superstitious
nonsense.
There *IS* however, some evidence, indicative of what phenomena may
influence *some* beachings

Whale and dolphin strandings fit predictions
Three whale and dolphin strandings have left more than 170 animals
dead on the beaches of Australia and New Zealand in the past few days.
The precise causes are unclear, but the beachings tally with
predictions made by Tasmanian scientists in New Scientist in July
2004.
The difference? "dr" Turi is a superstitious ghoul. The Antarctic
Wildlife Research Unit is full of scientists, who study such things.

Dr. Turi has not explained how he makes his forecasts. I would like
to know just what he is talking about when he uses the phrase
Super-Nova Window." Any hints about that Oh Oracle of the Internet?

Look Burp, it is a catchy phrase, to fool and trick the rubes and stupid
people. It works just like "an Astrology that works every time" did for an
other astrologer. The problem was people looked at the predictions and
found out they work less well than random guessing.
You better stop questioning Turi, or Turi might sue you, like your buddy
Stapleton sued many posters in this group?

For a laugh, read the intro to Turdis Moonpower 2005 Astroshite,
available here:
http://stream.emerald-energies.com/Samples/Turi/Dr._Turi_-_Moon_Power_2005-sample.pdf
Basically he spends 5 pages waffling about his life story which could
have been summarised thusly:
"I am and have always been a talentless misfit, bum, ghoul, lech and
general creep, but now I have gullible fools like you dear reader to
fund my lifestyle."
The turdster then spends another 5 pages feebly trying to tie last years
events to his last set of catch-all predictions. He seems to be
channeling Criswell the whole time.
After reading this dirge, go to amazon.com & barnesandnoble.com and
write up a review.
