Why not create a pool where people pay ten bucks or so, or stake their
reputations, etc., on where or when or how the next great disaster will
hit?
For instance, predict a hurricane and its category and its target, or
an earthquake and its magnitude along with its target. Or the next
alien landing. Or the next big government crisis or technological
disaster? Predictions must be specific or else the participant won't be
recognized.
Since everyone in this group (alt.prophecies.nostradamus) is so big on
predicting the future, perhaps we should create a system that would
recognize and identify the person with the most foresight as opposed to
sending someone to dig up obscure posts to prove that said individual
made such a prophecy... and often times vague at that.
Why not put your future-seeing skills to the test in a game?
Just a proposition.
Maybe it doesn't have to involve money... just reputations. I say let's
do it... Who's with me?

Good idea, but I don't think there's much that can be done repair the
tarnished reputations here. But if you can pull it off, I like to volunteer
my services as the treasurer.

I was goofing around and forgot to change my handle. I hate it when that
happens.

When I return perhaps we can get such a thing going... unless you'd
like to try in the meanwhile.
