Long awaited not ever to come back
To Europe, in Asia shall appear.
One of the league issued from great Hermes,
Shall surpass all the kings of the east.
"Hermes" as both messenger of the gods and champion of
thieves.
"Asie" read as referring to the Middle East region of Asia.
Nostradamus's inspired adaptation of the New Testament prophecies,
where the return of the Christ is prophesied to arrive most
unexpectedly, during a time when the Middle East is laid bare by death
and destruction.
