The GOP is the natural home of religious fanatics
90% of Americans claim to be religious...
You do realize that, don't you?
They want to impose their religious ideas on the rest of America.
Name a "religious idea" these folks want to impose and describe how
they intend to impose it?
I know two-part questions can be difficult for besotted,
soot-encrusted cockneys but I figured I'd aim high.

The key part of the phrase was "fanatic." Don't think its 90%, but its a
hefty percentage.

Anti-abortion is the main issue. Tracts found after meetings to organize
Christians to run for political office instruct people to NOT raise the
abortion issue in local campaigns because it might turn voters off.

Yes but to the left all religion is "fanatic"

Why do you assume that abortion is a religious issue? Many pro-life
advocates are not religious and vice versa.
Do you consider murder to be a religious issue? Or rape? Or, say,
the legalization of marijuana?
And besides, if Christian organizations are being "instructed" NOT to
raise the issue, doesn't this contradict your original premise?
Unless of course you're suggesting that they're going to "spring it on
us" after being elected...
You don't mind read, too, do you?

I'd say they probably want to make abortion illegal and intend to use
the Supreme Court appointments to eventually impose it by overturning
Roe v. Wade.
I doubt it will ever happent, but do not doubt that there are those
who want it to.
I also think they would insert their religion into as many public
institutions as possible in as many ways as possible.
By "they" I'm refering to people who believe strongly that their
religion is the only true religion and that without it people are
somehow "damned." They believe their religious beliefs trump those of
others.

They are only difficult for soot-encrusted cockneys who arent
besotted!

But not all are of the same religion.
You do realize that, don't you?
Religion is a personal matter for each individual and is something in
which the state plays no part. And it should be kept that way.
