I was looking at the Stars on the death of Julius Caesar
(GAIVS IVLIVS CAESAR), i.e. IDVS (XV) MARTIVS DCCX A.U.C.,
which most sources place as Tuesday, March 14th, 44 BC by
the proleptic Julian calendar. Although some claim it was
Monday the 13th, no historical citations support that date.
The morning of Tuesday the 14th of March, 44 BC is accepted
as the true date of the most famous assassination in history...
A very interesting comparison for determining such ancient
Roman calendar dates is found here:
http://www.crystalinks.com/romecalendar.html
The time of Caesar's assisination and death is uncertain,
but it was sometime around mid-day, because Caesar had been
quite late in arriving to officially open the Senate meeting.
Recall that Julius Caesar was well-known as a son of Venus,
i.e., that's how ancient judicial astrologers referred to
the soul's heavenly sojourn before being incarnated into the
body. Similarly, Alexander the Great was called the son of
Zeus (Jupiter), meaning his soul had been cast down from
the heavenly plane of Jupiter to incarnate into that body.
Since we know that Julius Caesar was from a Venus sojourn...
Notably, Venus transits midheaven to be *struck* under Mars
ruling in the first house. Jupiter is ruling in the twelfth
house with tail of the Dragon exalted, waning Moon therein
aloft in descendancy. Saturn rules in the eleventh house.
Mercury is made meat (about to conjunct the Sun superior)
in the second house. Head of the Dragon is with debilitate
fortune in the third house. Pluto in the fifth house aloft
the morning Ascendant. Neptune transits to fall in the sixth
house. Mars & Mercury are closing, but Venus is receding by
radial velocity. Death sojourn was Neptune ruling Pisces:

Another rather dreary "profile" of an old leader, he was of course
famous for doing campaigns, funding themn sometimes himself.
Come on Danny get on topic for once in your life, leave the Preachies
for the Preachers they know (or at least should know) what they are
talking about.
Decline of Empire is evident in the folk.
