Object: The Lone Quatrain!
Seeing very little on topic I thought a random Q will have to do,
So:C3Q93. In Avignon the chief of the whole empire, Will make a stop
on the way to desolated Paris: Tricast 8 will hold the anger of
Hannibal: Lyons will be poorly consoled for the change. 8
Tricast = Possibly Troyes
XCIII. Dans Avignon tout le chef de l'empire, Fera arrest pour Paris
desolé: Tricast 6 tiendra l'Annibalique ire, Lyon par change sera mal
consolé.
6 Tricast = Possibly Latin Tricasses, Troyes; or Tricastins, natives
of Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteax
C3Q93. Another of the detailed and obscure variety. Avignon belonged
to the Papacy until 1791. All that we can guess at for Hannibal is
"archenemy of Rome." Saint-Paul-Trois-Chateaux is a small town a few
miles north of Orange on the east bank of the Rhone, while Troyes is a
major city southeast of Paris, from which "troy" weight gets its name.

Dans Auignon tout le chef de l'Empire,
Fera arrest pour Paris désolé :
Tricast tiendra l'annibalique ire,
Lyon par change sera mal consolé.
Transfer in Avignon of the controlling heads of France, after the
abandonment forced of Paris. Indignation of the population of the
Tricastin and Lyons. The table seems set for the taking of Paris and the
flight of the governing French leader(s) in the S. of the country.
France was governed out of the walls of Paris in two occasions: in the
beginning of the reign of Henri IV, and under the occupation (Second
world War).
1. Henri IV establishes its temporary government in Tours, before Paris
doesn't welcome it.
2. The Reich loaded Pétain (in Vichy) to restore the French peace by the
submissiveness and the collaboration.
However, there is no question of Avignon in these two episodes.
The Tricastin, territory of the Dauphiné situated in the valley of the
Rhone, is shared between the departments of Drôme (çant. of Holy-Paul
Three Castle, Pierrelatte) and that of Vaucluse (cant. of Bollène).
Anger would invade its (Tricastin's) population then. Nostradamus
associates this resentment to the character of Hannibal (for his
resentment towards Rome).
Thus, this French region would show a marked hate without boundary -
towards the main city of empire or the country having submitted Paris.
Finally, Lyons offended by the events underlines the fatal sky of
France, again invaded, at the time of the next conflict
world or of an ulterior war.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I could comment further to say that it is no wonder, since they are
weasels who virtually welcome the enemy there to implement counter
resistance, but I'd be editing the future...

CVQ31. In Avignon the supreme head of the empire Shall halt, since
Paris [is] desolated; Troyes shall hold the wrath of Hannibal. Lyons
shall be poorly consoled by the change. There are many perplexing
areas in this verse. Line 1 'tout le chef' is not clear. Perhaps
'toutel' (total). Line 2. 'desolé:' (a) laid waste, (b) lonely, (c)
very sad. Perhaps the Emperor is sad. Line 3. Troyes shall be
devastated? Shall suffer from an enemy of Rome?

So it is a future Quatrain then?

Or a Tunisian leader who takes a hardline in the area?
