Thanks to the surprise victory of GEORGE "DUBYA" BUSH over that lame
democratic candidate, AMERICA THE BEAUTIFuL now has a chance to
further its great agenda of Americanizing the world.
Bush has a Republican Senate and House. He has a majority
vote. He has lots of money. He has ***** Cheney to do his
dirty work. He basically can retire now, and let the
defense and energy corporations get on with the business
of running the world.
So now what? Well, I'll tell ya. Look out Iran. We are coming
and the world can't stop us. Iran is next on the list.
We will crush you. We laugh at your puny attempts at terrorism.
You knock down a building; we knock down a country or three.
We can continue to allow our ally Israel to flagrantly
violate human rights and even kill non-violent American
protesters dumb enough to try to protect terrorists.
We can continue to turn our backs as our
tax dollars are used to do things that we would consider
human rights violations anywhere else in the world.
And you Palestinians who danced in the streets after 9/11?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Keep dancing. Your hatred only gives
us justification to continue to victimize and dominate you.
Al Jazeera is GW's most useful tool.
And the economy will recover. Bush will allow the oil
companies to assure that oil continues to dominate the
world economy. We can suck the Iraqi oil wells dry
at the expense of a few thousand cheap American lives and
pollute the environment to our hearts' content. And
the U.N. can't and won't do anything to stop us.
Four years from now, we will have the FIRST woman
president ever. I'm certain all the Arab nations will
look at us in shock and awe when she takes the helm.
Congratulations are in order for the United States of America.
We stood strong and supported a president who took
us to war on completely bogus evidence, who violated
badly needed treaties signed by other American Presidents,
and who still has yet to track down Osama Bin Laden.
Well, I better get back to watching Fox News. Hannity
and Colms is almost over. See you all when we start the
next war justifying huge defense spending when there really is no
enemy anywhere. Let the healing begin.
We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
S~

Nope, I simply object to being falsely accused of "anti-semite" by anyone

accusations actually contained any anti-semitism.

Ah that would be smok(ed) - note the *past tense* why do you say

And also - why only mention me? There's plenty of others here on this

I think we should get Saint Isadore's expert opinion on this.

One of them was me. I am not ashamed of it...but I gave it up in my
early
20s, which was 20 years ago. It just made me want to nod off.
Jane
So you committed a crime 20 years ago jane (by tw standards)?
Nope, she doesn't have a criminal record for it. how many more times,
criminal?
Bottom line, do you think it is a criminal act that makes you a criminal?
It's a criminal record that makes you a criminal, criminal. Or are you
claiming the US is WRONG to restrict yoru entry due to your crimes? That
woudl be a terrorist-supporting, anti-American weasel stance you were
taking, by your own definition...probably anti-semitic too!

Jeez, I think I would hate that. I had morphine after surgery once for
painkillers - it was horrible to have things messed up and kind of "out there"
like they weren't quite real.
But, OTOH, lots of people hate spinning rides that make them dizzy, and I just
love them - I'd love to go into one of those centrifugal force things they have
at NASA!
Vive la difference!

It is a crime to possess pot in many parts of the States, Jean, even in small
amounts. In some states it's been decriminalized, so it's similar to a speeding
ticket.

Are you asking me technically/legally, or do I think it *ought* to make you a
criminal? (And I only thought to ask that because I read another post of
yours).
Yes, in some places, possession of pot is a misdemeanor, which technically makes
you a criminal if you are caught and convicted.
No, I do not think possession of any kind of drug should be a criminal offense,
any more than I think possession of a gun should be a criminal offense. I think
the government should keep it's nose out of people's private business and let
them live or screw up their lives any way they want. A different matter if
someone is messing with someone *else's* life, but that's not what we're talking
about here.

There are people in jail now who were busted with pot in the '70s.
There are MANY people still in jail for 'cultivation'.
From a 'Big Brother' perspective... ANYTHING that takes away from the GNP is
a bad thing and should be eliminated... this includes Drugs, Alcohol, and
ALL Hobbies (outside of Christian Approved Religious Activities).
Since the United States has decided it will not compete with China in
colonizing the planets, and has instead shifted it's focus on converting
everyone to Jesus Worshipping, Women Hating, Oil Loving Baptists... the GNP
will be spent accordingly.
Jean "The Pedophile" Geurnon is wrong... pot causes genetic mutations. It's
not good for recreational use for people of Child Bearing age.
Better that ya'll enjoy the United States new Opium source... spend your
hours, days, weeks, months, and years in the hinterland between
consciousness and death... spend your time dreaming that you can taste
sound, hear colours, smell sunlight. Opium Dens were once all the rage...
look for one near you soon!
A new paradigm shift has been noted... the Elite now understand that the
Earth has limited resources. It is no longer acceptable for an individual
to squander important resources (like food and water) in the pursuit of
Individual Happiness.
In the short term... if ones 'drug of preference' helps to finance those
Military Endeavors that help bring Jesus, Women Hating, or Oil to the United
States, then these drugs will be briefly overlooked... though Officially
condemned.

It also has to affect your lungs! I've read it has more tar than
cigarettes...plus you hold it in your lungs, which you don't do with cigs.
It also makes people lethargic and un-ambitious.
I can see it for medical use, as some people with MS, AIDS, Glaucoma, etc,
swear by it. It is too bad it can't be processed into pill form so that it
wouldn't have to be smoked.

There are other more effective medications for these problems, but they don't
provide the same "high" which is what this issue is all about.
Also, it has been put into pill form "Marinol" but again it doesn't provide the
same "high" so it is discredited by those who want Pot to be totally legal.

Sure, I don't know any who said it here, but no doubt most of the people
here smoked pot in the past, and it is not a crime. But there is nothing
one can convey to this little ***** tw.
Can't you explain to him that having pot is not a crime whether you get
caught or not?
It is a crime to possess pot in many parts of the States, Jean, even in small
amounts. In some states it's been decriminalized, so it's similar to a
speeding
ticket.
Woods
Bah, it is an infraction. The question is, would that act make you
criminal. Answer truthfully Woods.
A different matter if
someone is messing with someone *else's* life, but that's not what we're talking
about here.
Couldn't agree more, Woods (I always find myself agreeing with you! ;)
And another thing - how could they put addicts in jail? They should
be in *rehab*! And alcohol is legal - while weed is not. Alcohol has
to be one of the very worst drugs out there (and yes, it *is* a drug
for others who don't consider it such. It's a legal, socially
acceptable drug.)
What a backwards, screwed up system IMO.

You mean my smoking pit in the 70s. Sure. And Dani smokes pot,.
Ah that would be smok(ed) - note the *past tense* why do you say
"smokes" as if I do it now?
And also - why only mention me? There's plenty of others here on this
group who have smoked in the past.

You Liberals are the one's who are screwed up and backwards; if we were to
legalize drugs you would see the use of all drugs rise dramatically, crime
would rise along with it and the system would be overwhelmed.
But I think that's exactly what you wacky Liberals would like to see happen to
our society.

Besides, if drugs were made legal, the street value of Tony's oxycodone
stash woudl plummet!
