Years before the invasion of Iraq, two no-fly zones over Iraq were imposed by the US and UK.
Iraqi aircraft were excluded from these zones.
These no-fly zones were NOT authorized by the United Nations.
And they were NOT specifically sanctioned by any Security Council resolution.
The enforcers claimed a false authority under Security Council Resolution 688.

I think yer too late mate. The bombs are dropped and the Arabs are
crispified. The 'Enforcers' can do what the ***** they want because
they have the hardware. When the Enforcers tell you to stop doing
something, then you should damn well stop.
My granny said the US shouldn't invade Iraq the second time, and they
did it anyway. So in my mind, she now has as much power as the UN,
with the added ability of being able to knit stuff. Under resolution
332 I can get her to bake me an apple pie.

I suspect she can just claim that the people who drafted 332 were racists
and therefore she can ignore the resolution and do what she likes. That's
what happened with 232 , I believe.

The no fly zones were in place to protect the Kurds. Apparently they didn't like being gassed or
having acid poured on them. If the USA waited for the UN to move, the Kurdish population would've
vanished. BTW, Bill Clinton and the Euro death squad had no UN mandate to invade and bomb Serbia.
But they did. Now it's a fucking mess that the Euros don't want to pay for. You Euros sure are self
centered lot. I can see how you destroyed the Jews and brought Hitler to power. Morons.
