Besides, is there anything really wrong with frisking someone who comes into
close contact with soldiers during a time of war? There were no weapons aimed
at anyone, and everything seems very calm and professional in the photo.
Sure, maybe the kid shouldn't be in a war situation in the first place, but the
soldier sure didn't look to be doing anything improper/wrong to me.

What we have here is a clashing of cultures.
On the one hand, you have yer high tech heathens, pretending they are
Christians. On the other hand, you have yer low tech heathens, pretending
they are Muslims. The last time I checked, high tech beats low tech each and
every time.
Lets not forget that there was a time when the Muslims were high tech and
the Christians were low tech. The high tech bunch-o-heathens won back then
too.
