All the visible planets, except for Saturn, are lined up on the same side of
the Earth today. Only the Moon is on the opposite side, which means they
are all practically in a straight line. I wonder what it means.. One thing
is certain however.....
If the moon were not on the other side to balance things out, then the Earth
would go crashing into the Sun because of the gravitational pull by all the
planets towards the Sun. Here the Earth is once again 'saved' because God
works in mysterious ways, as some say.
Also, I wonder what it means for the ongoing election in the States....

I worry more about the 747 on approach over my house than I worry about the
'influence' of the other planets. As to the Earth crashing into the Sun, may I
suggest some light reading by Sir Isaac Newton?

Besides, I said that the Earth will *NOT* go crashing into the Sun today.
The Earth is still here, as far as I can tell, so my calculations are
obviously correct!!!

Newton`s calculations were slightly off, because he did not know that the
planets revolved in elliptical orbits, but thought they were circular.
