What has physics got to do with spirituality?
Last time I spoke I asked if you wanted to win the lottery.
For all those who said yes the next step is to place your bet.
What happens if you don't place your bet?
There are two outcomes from any decision: either take the action or
don't, place the bet or walk away, perhaps you will win the lottery
perhaps not, but you don't know until you play.
The universe is an infinite multitude of outcomes from every possible
event, every possible choice. When you make a choice you push the
universe along one path instead of another, and that applies more so to
the mystery and power of prayer.
We know that prayer can change the world. A child who is sick might be
cured by the right kind of prayer, like pushing the universe at just the
right moment. Without that prayer the child could die and the universe
will take on a whole new kind of future without out the blessing of that
child's contributions, laughter, love and life.
So it is with the prayer for the coming - to "push" the universe in the
right direction and bring about a better world. Like a dying child we
have the opportunity to bring together an enormous power and concentrate
our efforts in helping this world of ours through the coming troubles.

Only problem is that the vast majority are praying for a differnt
outcome, to the one you are proposing.
