The "evidence" for aluminum casings being used for uranium enrichment by the
Iraqis was less than convincing all along. There were no signs of Iraq
owning or acquiring thousands of other pieces of equipment needed to rebuild
it's nuclear program.
The tubes in question never made it to Iraq anyway. They were interdicted.
The sanctions were working and would have continued to work.
The ground of the warmongering neocon scratching and scrambling to justify

Kerry, who had access to the very same intelligence as Bush, believed he
had them too. They were ready to face it.
He was a survivor, he would certainly not have
condoned to have his sons killed.
Then he should have opted for regime change, hey. France didn't give him
the choice, but the US-led coalition did, he chose the wrong choice.
Had too many secrets to hide. He lost everything.
He would have used them. He
did not use them so we can conclude that he did not have them.
Maybe yes, maybe no. If he had them, and was the least smart, he shipped
them to Syria or hid them. but now it seem more probable that he didn't.
Either way he made it impossible for the UN, even with 6 months more, to
get to the bottom of this, at least according to David Kay a few minutes
ago on Lou Dobbs.
There was no choice to find out but go there, again according to him.
As if this was the only breach. Tsss. I don't, get that, they don't
consider all his other violations.
Anyway, to pretend that Bush knew more about what Saddam really had than
the inspectors admit today (they all thought he had them) is ludicrous.
Maybe those who Saddam bribed, in France in particular, were in the
secret. But they certainly didn't tell how they could have known such a
thing.
Damn French fries beg for Heinz' ketchup now. Too bad for them that
freedom fries will have only a sprinkle of salt... of the earth. ;-)

Bah, a couple of days ago the scientist who hid part of some centrifuge
was interviewed on CNN.
OF COURSE there was work the nuclear program. The CIA has also exposed
documents. Of course according to the scientist there was intention by
the dictator to make nuclear weapons as soon as the inspectors would
leave. ONLY LOSERS say otherwise.
Besides, they had the intelligence they had before the war, if they
didn't find what they expect it is after the fact. No one in his right
mind can criticize speaking about this from a commander in chief. And
this was not the reason given either to the senate or the house, which
kerry signed, or to the people, it was the breach in the UN resolution,
which were too great to be ignored, or repaired by more inspections,
since they were in many other sectors than the WMDs.

Reminds me of one: "I authorized the war on Iraq before I voted against
it." LOL
