I always wondered why Bush used that odd expression, 'a smoking gun'.
I've always found guns to 'smoke' after they have been fired. I think
using these words as a catchphrase is rather inaccurate considering
what they are intended to convey.
Who 'thinks' these propoganda expressions up ?

Just do not see how a smoking gun is a lab doing dodgy research, not
even in Iraq, there must be many labs out there doing even shadier
stuff.

If the US had learned that North Korea or Iraq had successfully
genetically reconstructed the Spanish Flu in a military weapons
lab, don't you think that it would have caused a little blip
in the media?
But then, it depends who's calling who the evil empire.
