Object:	The Wheel of Time

Having only published 942 quatrains and not the 1000 as expected, we
can now see that Nostradamus was using the imagery of the Bronze
Tripod as his method of predicting the future. This he did by dividing
the prophecies into three BRANCHES of Past, Present and Future. This
leaves us with the value of 314 for each branch, which was also the
value of Pi during Nostradamus's day, thereby giving more emphasis to
the cyclic method of Nostradamus's prophecies, i.e. history repeating
itself.
A "Tripod", as the name implies, has "Three" branches/legs which join
together in the middle. So, when the Tripod is applied to the 942
quatrains, each branch would carry the numerical value of 314, (Pi),
i.e. 942/3.

Thus: -
314 - quatrains based on classical history and myths.
314 - quatrains based on current events and rituals
314 - quatrains based on the Mirabilis liber and other
ancient prophecy sources.

Esoterically, the numerical value of 314 is very significant in the
study of Gematria, (a branch of the Jewish Kabbalah), since in Hebrew,
the divine names of "Metatron" and "Shaddai" also add up to 314.
Thus, this Tripod imagery, symbolizes a Godhead, or a Trinity of Three
into One, which strangely returns a value of 888 when the rules of
numerology are applied to each value, side by side.
3+1+4 = 8}
3+1+4 = 8} - 888 = The sacred number of Christ
3+1+4 = 8}
Conclusion: The Tripod imagery, is the very foundation upon which the
Prophecies of Nostradamus stand.-

An interesting take, apparently these 15-16th century folk were into a
balanced document and believe it or not the E was a central point, so
the Epistle would be that central point to Nosties work and take it up
to the 1000.
How is that for assumption?

Sure..
942 quatrains based on the Tripod method, and possibly a further 58
prophecies by way of the Epistle, this making up the full 1000.

942 quatrains based on the Tripod method, and possibly a further 58
prophecies by way of the Epistle, this making up the full 1000.

Who Knows!

However, if you're interested, i currently lean towards the later
published 58 sixains.

Hmmm, Daniel Ruzo has counted more than 1100, and I concur with
his arithmetic, although I do not necessarily agree with what he
does with them.

As to why Nostradamus speaks on June 27, 1558, of the fact that
he has reached the one-thousand figure, it is because he had
indeed produced more than one thousand quatrains at the time. If
you add to these the quatrains later found in the ensuing
Almanchs produced until his death, you do reach the figure
advanced by Ruzo.
