Bombings in Iraq, Lebanon, Algeria & not just one, but
**TWO** mass shootings in Seppoland -- all in the same frickin' day !!
Can any of my fave American peoplez pleaze explain to their dear old
Uncle Wally why Americans have become so blais=C3=A9 & accepting about all
these mass killings in their country ?!?!?
Surely U peoplez have had a gutfull of all this ?!??!
Why not tougher gun laws ?!?!?

The trench coat-clad gunman who killed five people and wounded four at
a Utah shopping mall before being fatally shot by an off-duty police
officer calmly fired a shotgun at his victims, according to
authorities and witnesses.
Detectives were trying to determine what sparked the rampage at the
Trolley Square shopping mall in Salt Lake City on Monday night.
Detective Robin Snyder of the Salt Lake City police department said
the shooter was an 18-year-old from the Salt Lake City area, but she
did not release his name. She said he used a shotgun and had a
handgun.
Two 28-year-old women were killed in the attack, along with a 52-year-
old man, a 24-year-old man and a 15-year- old girl, Snyder said, and
four people were hospitalized.
Also Monday, three men were shot and killed and another was critically
wounded in the conference room of Zigzag Net, a Philadelphia marketing
company. The gunman killed himself as the police closed in, the
authorities said.
Richard Ross, the Philadelphia deputy police commissioner, said two
victims were on the floor and another was in a chair, all with "wounds
to various parts of the body." He said two other men had been bound
with duct tape but not attacked. The gunman's role in the company was
not immediately clear, he said, but he might have been an investor.

News last night said the salt lake city shooter was an 18
year old refugee from the kosovo conflict of the late 90's.
I personally have encountered another group (they keep mostly
to themselves) of people I believe are refugees from the same
conflict. They don't seem to understand social boundaries
very well, and they seem a bit paranoid.

Well, I wouldn't put the 3 dead shooting into the "mass killing" category.
A couple of people went postal, it happens. There's a lot of stress here.
I'm not sure that tougher gun laws would do any good. My own
personal opinion is that it's worth the (incredibly low) risk of someone
going postal to retain my rights to own as many guns as I'd like.
